@@henrygingercat I was merely making a comparison re: Michelangelo's David, which defines the meaning of perfection. Ms. Price's voice as Ariadne evokes that kind of perfection for me. Peace:)
@@jrdonasco7185Absolutely - but I've a feeling that the great Leontyne Price, whom sadly I was unable to hear live - one of her rare performances in London, same time as this recording, had sold out in minutes - was just past her best here. So, 10 years earlier - who knows?
