Warband will always be one of my favourite games I just hope once bannerlords finished it can live up to the longevity of warband
I am doing a playthough of Warband again. I will give Bannerlord until the end of the year before I give it another go.
I hope when it’s out of early access it will be ported to console but yeah I hope so too.

@@JimmyRaven not bad idea, I didn't play the game for almost a year and tried it a few weeks ago again, and it's still not what I expected from it. I think it will never be as good as I allways expected for all those years sadly, a few mods look pretty cool already but the main game is dead to me.
@@htjohn8202 I have no doubt that it will eventually be a good game just that they released it too early and there are very little mods available. Getting a stable version and letting the modders do their thing will be a great experience but that is not what Bannerlord is right now.
I remember conquering the entire realm singlehandedly and not getting a single castle while everybody else was having a feast.

You left out those random 70-120+ hoards of Khergit Lancers that just roam the map "randomly" but always seem to find you.
For me it is usually man-at-arms but occasionally I see lancers.
I did miss out a bunch of things, so much so that I might make another one.

Not sating Warband is dead. I have played more Warband than Bannerlord since its (beta) release.
Pathfinding in Warband is the one thing that made me have cheat mode enabled at all times, sieges were impossible without it... SO glad Bannerlords so far has been MILES better in that regard, only had one such event in multipe runs, as opposed to multiple events in a single run in Warband
Fuck the one with the Vaegirs hit close to home, exact same thing happened on my last campaign and their last stronghold was also Yruma Castle
Vaegirs while having good archers have poor infantry and cavalry. They as designed to break shield walls but have low defense of their own. The cavalry is too low quality to compare with butterlords or mamalukes and too expensive to compete with the horde.
Surrounded by enemies? Just Alt + F4
Getting screwed over is part of the Warband experience.

Or Was it Shift + Alt + F4? It was differend back then, so I don't remember it.
I have never used the cheats. Getting mad and yelling "That is bullshit" in a singleplayer game is part of the fun.

can confirm as a warband vet vaegirs are the worst factin. not because they have bad troops but simply because they make incredibly bad strategic decisions.
I'd go so far as to say they have the best archers, but they have the worst A.I.

Well you could try 2 things either to kick your oponent, to go a bit forward, after blocking or try left slash,maybe tried stabing, but not sure if that could work, not right or upper, since you didnt had space.
Also, could be saved if you would carry second shield and few throwing axes, for swapping those axes as melle close weapons when this happens :C
4:45 - 6:14 Nice soundtrack back there :D , only shame you didnt done any chamber, which could help you a lot with your knife against anything :D
But still like this game for a long time, only downside is the IQ of AI dudes sometimes, or the fact that it can randomly stops working after not saving 2 hour longing battle that you won :C
Yes I could have kicked or used a slash the originated from the left hand side, though after I was backed into that area I was stuck and could not go any direction. That character was build for horseback and bows, however, there is another...
And to your other point I am not good with knives so 'git good' is probably appropriate.

Multiplayer warband is for some reason the only game i am incredibly good at (shit at every other game) and would usually always be 1st in any server. Will never forget slaughtering the Goblin players in MP. Rip goblin_skirmisher

I have not played Bannerlord since I picked it up at beta release and it was inferior to Warband so just went back. I might have to give it another go as it has been years at this point and they could have fixed some of the... 'features'.
