- Hurricane Milton has unleashed powerful winds, tornadoes and torrential rains onto Florida,
as it made its way across the US state. It is the third hurricane to hit Florida this year, and has knocked out power for more than three million homes and businesses. Mitch McCann reports.
It's time to build houses out of brick, cement and rebar. We can't continue with these cardboard houses that soften with water. There is an urgent need to change the building codes for these areas.
