I wear cornrows. I keep them for 4 months. I am on a long term length retention journey 💚💚💚❇️❇️❇️❇️
Update: I just started wearing plaits it’s neater n simple styling.
Love that!
@@Nayanzeka thank you 😊
This is key to length retention. I've been doing this for a year now. It's a breakthrough from stunt growth, severe breakage, over-manipulation, tension, and so on. Beautiful head of hair you got there. You've come a long way Naya. 👏🏽
So true I noticed how my hair increased in length when retwisting
Nice to hear. I do mine with braids most time because it last longer.
Very true. Its been almost 2 weeks of new twists braided at the root and I can feel growth. I've decided to carry this on for atleast a year (but I will do braids in the winter or when I go abroad)
I am currently on a three month protective style challenge…I wore my mini twist for a month….. just clocked one month on 25th April….. I washed it and changed into midi braids instead because I couldn’t retwist and I want to save myself stress for when I take out the protective style😂 in June🤞🤞….. I also thread my protective style up for two days to keep it stretched and I must say it does help in revamping the style.
good way to retain length and grow out the hair more, nice one 👍
This makes so much sense. Mini twists here i come 😊
I have mini braids , its been 5 weeks , I'm lazy to unbraid
That much growth in two weeks 😱😱😱
Washing hair in twists is the magic trick I’ve been looking for. 😂 I keep mine in for a week before refreshing them.
Right!!
Thank you for sharing this process! Now I know how to wash and condition my twists properly.
Happy to help!
Nice ❤. I'm trying to have mini twists in for the rest of the year. I just want the bare minimum done to my hair atm lol. I definitely wash my twists at some point - maximum after 3 weeks (mainly cos of seborrheic dermatitis and maybe product but it feels so much better after) I have to retwist as well but like you said, i aint got time for my whole head lol so just the ones on top and then curls the ends of the others with a bit of mousse or something. Then over the next few days i might attend to the other ones and retwist if there's time.
My hair isn't as long as yours but I'll try the stretching process as well cos i just realised how springy my twists are that I can tie them up lol
Just stumble on one of your videos and i'm finding it helpful already
I’m glad
What’s the cream you using ??
I don’t know what to do with my hair length, the front hair is longer than the back hair. Pls help me out
Amei!
Que bom 😊
Twist works better for me when I wash my hair in them
Beautiful 🎉
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for the upload. This reminded me of my twists that I had just before I did another big chop. A week ago I believe. Mini twists are my go to. But very massive emphasis on mini. When I did them.
Definitely redoing them when my hair grows out
I’ve tried them and now I want to do it more often Love that!
@@Nayanzeka deffo something that took a lot let time than doing braids on my hair, as I always did tiny braids. And it’s very flexible, and protective all the more. I did wash in between two and mousturise. I almost miss my hair talking about it. But it’ll grow back
Nice one naya is it a hack or something simple you saw on tiktok or instagram?😍💓
I do this with my other protective styles like cornrows, just decided to do same on with the mini twist
I washed my hair today and I've been thinking to install mini twist too, but I'm contemplating. I have low density thin fine hair, what is your advice please.
Go for it!
I think making them Tiny. On stretched hair. Then spritz water on it after. The mini ones give more VOLUME. You might just love it. GO FOR IT
@@maryjacob8873 ok thanks darling, I'll definitely try it out
@@_Faatyymaang hopefully you’ll be back to let us know how it goes.
@@maryjacob8873 Yes 😊 I'll.
Have you laid your hands on lush shampoo and conditioner?
No I haven’t, now that you’ve mentioned it I might try it out
Is it good?
