I love your mindset. When you said that the patience you take for your hair is a reflection of self love, I felt that 💗
I wish more black women to run into this video. Self care can sometimes be overlooked. This type of gentleness is truly a gift
With the tangle teezer: I know its not for everyone, but I find that holding the brush vertically made detangling super easy!
I’m feeling the same way about my hair. Thank you for sharing! We have similar hair 🥰
I subscribed so quick. As soon as I saw your hair I was in love. I actually see my hair on your head. Literally the same texture. Finally some I can actually relate to.
Best tutorial ever!
You should give the UNBrush a try if you’re looking for a brush to detangle with.
I really like conditioning and detangling as a first step in the shower…i break my hair into 6 sections before i get in…and get it fully wet…then brush out each section. Def easier than dry detangling and i lose less hair. Orrrr I’ll shampoo first then break up my hair during conditioning and comb out then (like u did!)…but i am anti dry detangling, so much breakage.
Also, I’m a new subbie, i appreciate ur “imma do both” vibes….i don’t think we HAVE to pick one, we can keep successful curls and rock silk presses…we just gotta pay attention and do what responds well.
Love these videos so much! I really like your calm, slower paced videos. It’s very relaxing to watch and it’s educational as well. Thank you so much for sharing 💖💖💖
Yea. I resonate so much with the ‘ I used to’. I have tried so many things on my journey and now I’m back to the basics
i love love love your long form content. i have type 2 hair myself but its very relaxing to watch and just learning abt hair and what it means to you as a Black woman is interesting. ty for sharing!
Gorgeous hair! Keep the videos coming. Hopefully u reach ur hair goals this year.❤
Something I would suggest for your scalp health is tea and acv rinses, that has really helped my itchy, dry scalp. Hope that helps.
Your hair is incomparable 😍
I love this vid. I have been natural since 2008, but I still just love looking at our hair. I remember those days of not shampooing your strands, co-wash only, people putting oil on their ends when shampooing....all of the things lol. I don't subscribe to any of the old ways, I blow dry and do long term styling now and my hair seems to like it.
Love this video... Thank you. That fhi unbrush is the truth..
Gurl you did this tutorial! Top tier! 🤌🏾
Glad i clicked on youe video i just got a cur yesterday and my hair went from almost armpit to needing my ends clipped to a little past shoulders… 4 c hair can be so finicky… can u shouw how u maintain ur hair week to weekand how to avoid tangling and nots
Enjoy the video and context giving, thanks so much..
My hair is so similar to yours, which is dope!!🔥
very relaxing.
The voice over is perfect…thanks for the helpful tips
Have you tried the Avlon Keracare line for dry scalp? works for dry itchy, dandruff scalp, I highly recommend if you haven’t tried it yet !! 👍🏽
I’ve had dandruff for years, but it’s been gone since using this🤗
Luv your videos!! 🥰
I love your videos.. I found you by researching videos for methods on how to style natural hair heat method.. my hair is soft, fine and thick (weird combination)but I learned to pin curls with your video and now I am hooked on your content. I am natural not by choice but by the environment that I live in. I am in the middle east and the heat is not a black woman's friend. I kept my hair in braids for 5 years non stop. During the 4th year I noticed that I had length but it was fine and thin. So I decided last year during winter I would not wear braids. To give my hair a vacation from the tension. So I started silk press. Well soon discovered that I have hyperthyroidism so I tend to sweat in my scalp which caused me to use flat iron too frequently. I am trying 2 strand twist but my hair is not trained so it looks confused. Part of it curly and the rest semi straight...THE STRUGGLE IS REAL!😢.. I will continue to explore and learn until the summer. But I really appreciate your channel and you.
Thank you for being patient with us.
Thank you for your post. It was very useful. I'm newly going natural. 👍
