Even thought you could incorporate this idea into the build if you have the lower left corner of the arched band tie into the ramp transition smoothly during the building process which of course this means going to the right would be the easier direction over the arch and those who naturally go left would have a harder time. I know it doesn't mean chit now, but there is a poly sheeting I put down under houses with with crawlspaces or dirt basements, keeps the house or wood from wicking moister out of the ground. I was told wood under a crawl space up to two feet away unless it's ventilated can wick moister.

Dave seems like one of those grumpy people who are actually teddy bears that u want to hug but they don't want u hugging them. I have close friends like that, I sneak up on them and hug them, inside you know they are happy about the hug. I had a hoody with grumpy from the seven or nine midgets what ever it is, but I loved that hoody till some one stole it and then I was grumpy. U should look into a saw mill( a band saw mill arnt bad. Then they the tree service guys to start dumping loads and u have unlimited wood, and fire wood.
