This video is absolutely helpful. I am so happy I found it. I love this electric fireplace. One question, I love the wall kit; great idea, however, what if you want the 3 sided view? Do you have a wall kit for that?
The wall kit (modernblaze.com/products/modern-flames-allwood-fireplace-wall-system-for-orion) is designed for Orion Slim which is not a 3-sided unit. If you want 3-sided look with easy installation, look into Orion Multi (modernblaze.com/products/modern-flames-orion-multi-built-in-smart-electric-fireplace) with floating mantel kit (modernblaze.com/products/modern-flames-orion-fireplace-mantel)
Great interview. ❤I am thrilled to learn that your future plans include older models the ability to update to the latest and greatest innovations in technology. I would like to know if it is ideal for me to purchase now as opposed to 2025? I don’t need the see through version as mine is going to go on a wall that doesn’t have another side.
Thank you ❤️ As far as when to purchase, now or next year. I think it is totally depends on your situation. It doesn't seem like you will be missing out on future technology if you buy in 2024 vs 2025. There could be a slight price increase which usually happens every year but nothing too significant to really influence the decision.
Here is Modern Flames' response: There are no plans for backgrounds in the current Orion. Backgrounds look good in pictures and video but in person we believe it looks 2 dimensional and not as realistic.
You can check out the "where to buy" section on Modern Flames website to find a dealer near you: www.modernflames.com/where-to-buy/. Modern Blaze can ship to Canada as well, here is the link to Orion Multi: modernblaze.com/products/modern-flames-orion-multi-built-in-smart-electric-fireplace
Gotta love Modern Flames fireplaces, I'm a bit biased but I would recommend them any day.

Will they have background upgrades too? Like adding brick or herringbone instead of just plain mirror?
Interesting question! Passing this on to Modern Flames. I'll report back when I hear from them.

It's weird how they still haven't made the logs glow as if they're burning. Seems like the missing element
Response from Modern Flames: Orion Series are prewired for lit logs. If/ when they become available, all Orion models will be backwards compatible.
