And that song is a seperate entity entirely that wasn't made by the film's composer, and I think played in the actual movie for 5 seconds tops. The actual score of the movie was by danny elfman and he was brought on about 5 months before the release, meaning a complete overhall of tone musically. Also, these scenes in this trailer were reshot after this trailer, meaning that just because the scene was in the final version doesn't mean that was the version of the scene we see in the trailer. Do i have to continue? Is this going over your head? I mean, it's just hard for me to think anyone who sees this trailer thinks it resembles the final cut. They literally have a completely different esthetic and cinematography and tone.

This is because Bruce's character arc in bvs is fabulous, absolutely fabulous as his arc is of a fallen batman who learns to be normal again. This redemption arc is something new and also something that a lot of people didn't get but whoever understood it thinks it's a fantastic concept. I don't agree with Snyder wanting to get batman raped in prison and I would love the fact that he never gets to write a batman story. That said, he's an incredible director who has been praised by Christopher Nolan himself. As for the treatment of the characters, that's on the story and not the director. Please don't make yourself look like an idiot while mentioning idiotic phrases like cultists and fanboys
@@DivvayKhatri I think that the main reason the injustice storyline and also the DKR in BvS don't work is that those are meant to be subversions of the classic characters, and since we really didn't see this Batman and Superman as their original ones, their "fall" doesn't work for both the story and for a lot of people. We skipped 20 years of this Batman, normal audiences don't know why he is the way he is, what does that Robin suit means, etc. And this Superman was never the happy, inspiring and hopeful from the comics (there was a tiny glimpse at the end of MoS that sadly they never expanded upon) so seeing him in the knightmare is not that different for them. There was a HUGE cultural understanding between what Zack wanted to do and what the audience needed
These are still Whedon written scenes...just directed by Snyder. Remember Whedon originally was hired to write jokes into this script that Snyder filmed. The humor is still going to be Whedon in the movie.

The Justice League are Gods trying to be human while the Avengers are humans trying to be Gods. As a fan growing up watching the JL animated series, this made me giggle a little! I love the Justice League more since their my favorite superhero team in comics of all TIME! Their the "A" team ! Hopefully Green lantern & Martian manhunter will join em in the future :)

I don't think back then Snyder intended to release the film in 4:3, but probably in the format we see here, which is an actual good compromise in the context of exploitation of the film in cinemas. The 4:3 format, ideal in Snyder's artistic vision, was probably consented by HBO Max in an attempt to let the director's vision and originality express fully to attract viewers and new subscribers.
Most movies shot in the IMAX aspect ratio don't release their trailers in the IMAX aspect ratio because it's easier to see the trailer in theaters and on youtube in the full-frame or widescreen ratio but will have the 4;3 IMAX ratios in IMAX theaters. Since this trailer or movie wasn't shown in theaters it would only make sense to release the trailer in the IMAX aspect ratio. Hal Jordan has always sucked from the first time he used his ring to punch someone with a giant green fist instead of using his power for anything practical and not completely stupid. And that song is a seperate entity entirely that wasn't made by the film's composer, and I think played in the actual movie for 5 seconds tops. The actual score of the movie was by danny elfman and he was brought on about 5 months before the release, meaning a complete overhall of tone musically. Also, these scenes in this trailer were reshot after this trailer, meaning that just because the scene was in the final version doesn't mean that was the version of the scene we see in the trailer. Do i have to continue? Is this going over your head? I mean, it's just hard for me to think anyone who sees this trailer thinks it resembles the final cut. They literally have a completely different esthetic and cinematography and tone.

@@Musashi139 why fuck the injustice timeline? It's a new and good concept that can be adopted to the movies and will provide an interesting character arc for the characters. This is because Bruce's character arc in bvs is fabulous, absolutely fabulous as his arc is of a fallen batman who learns to be normal again. This redemption arc is something new and also something that a lot of people didn't get but whoever understood it thinks it's a fantastic concept.
I don't agree with Snyder wanting to get batman raped in prison and I would love the fact that he never gets to write a batman story.
That said, he's an incredible director who has been praised by Christopher Nolan himself.
As for the treatment of the characters, that's on the story and not the director. Please don't make yourself look like an idiot while mentioning idiotic phrases like cultists and fanboys
@@DivvayKhatri I think that the main reason the injustice storyline and also the DKR in BvS don't work is that those are meant to be subversions of the classic characters, and since we really didn't see this Batman and Superman as their original ones, their "fall" doesn't work for both the story and for a lot of people. We skipped 20 years of this Batman, normal audiences don't know why he is the way he is, what does that Robin suit means, etc. And this Superman was never the happy, inspiring and hopeful from the comics (there was a tiny glimpse at the end of MoS that sadly they never expanded upon) so seeing him in the knightmare is not that different for them.
There was a HUGE cultural understanding between what Zack wanted to do and what the audience needed

I don't think back then Snyder intended to release the film in 4:3, but probably in the format we see here, which is an actual good compromise in the context of exploitation of the film in cinemas.
The 4:3 format, ideal in Snyder's artistic vision, was probably consented by HBO Max in an attempt to let the director's vision and originality express fully to attract viewers and new subscribers.
Most movies shot in the IMAX aspect ratio don't release their trailers in the IMAX aspect ratio because it's easier to see the trailer in theaters and on youtube in the full-frame or widescreen ratio but will have the 4;3 IMAX ratios in IMAX theaters. Since this trailer or movie wasn't shown in theaters it would only make sense to release the trailer in the IMAX aspect ratio.
