We purposely filmed it here because it is currently being revitalized. There are multiple businesses that are open and it is trying to make a comeback which will be fantastic for the area.
If you are local you should give it a second chance. Cantina Viajero is a delicious restaurant and the owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating while we were filming there.
