Cheers Burak!! How's the Capri, do you still have it?

@missioncapri I parted ways with Capri, it now resides in a car collector's garage under the spotlight. I've since acquired different vehicles, they have become different flavors :) If I have the opportunity, I want to start a new MK1 project soon.

Interesting how your 620 is a column shift, noticed the factory tunnel block off panel where the floor shifter would reside as they do here in N. America. Is it a 3 or 4 speed?

It’s 4 speed. They use the j15 engine over here in Thailand and I’m not sure if that was always column shift or not. It’s quite common for people to swap it for a 5 speed using the ready made cover.

You didn’t tell us the cost of the parts and labor this time.

      Here's the prices,
      Floor 3303 Baht / £76 / $96.61
      Rubber bushes 325 Baht / £7.50 / $9.51
      Nuts Bolts, discs etc 450 Baht / £10.36 / $13.16
      AC Repairs 9,400 Baht / £216 / $274
No Labour for the welding as I did that myself. The AC ended up been very expensive as it took a long time and had to replace most of the system. Also I'm a bit clueless about AC systems as never had to deal with them in the UK so not sure about the prices of AC parts. But at least its now ice cold in the Datsun and works much better.

What's next on the restoration ?
Can't believe you just didn't hire a scooter and ride back at the end of everyday .

Next jobs the exhaust and then disc brake conversion. All the local Datsun guys go to a shop that does custom stainless steel exhausts, for very cheap apparently. So I’m going to try find the shop! The scooter was my own stupid fault really. I forgot to load it up on the first day 😂. It worked out well in the end as it stopped me from giving up!! A bit like burning the boats!!😂
