Believe in yourself. While I was doing the back walkover I was thinking “after you practice you’ll achieve your goal” so that gives me more courage and I have been able to do it but at the end when I bend back I always land on both of my feet
Keep your arms up, stare at the wall in front of you. Slowly look up towards the ceiling. Keep the same motion, lean back slightly and look at the edge between the ceiling and wall behind you. Make sure your arms are up and ready to catch you. Keep staring and follow that wall behind you, looking for the edge between that wall and the floor, and eventually, stare at the floor behind you. You'll have done it without even thinking about doing it. That's how I learnt the back bend, and it's how I've always gone about teaching people. Stay safe and good luck guys!
I like that you stick to your warm, human way of making tutorials fit to our generation (I´m 26). You could totally pull of a serious way but that´s just not the man you are. Keep up. Greetings from germany.
Thank you so much for teaching me how to fall into a bridge. I couldn't kick over, but I did learn to fall into a bridge. To anybody else who reads this, do not try kicking off the wall. Instead of kicking off the wall you end up putting pressure on your back. It is better to just try kicking off of a raised surface.
@@StZephyrinus Hey man haha this world is so small! Doing great :D Successfully got my back handspring I'm so pumped 🔥🔥 And you what're you working on at the moment? :)
Ow thats nice bro, keep it up,. Me I'm still trying to clean my front and back handspring,. and if possible in the future I want to evolve my front handspring into a webster
if you have a trampoline or mat GREAT! but if not thats ok. what i did was jumped backwards into my trampoline (or stand on your bed) get some air and jump backwards. you can also use a wall, go backwards down the wall, or go onto a platform like a bed, couch, chair, just anything. this comment probably made no sense but i hope you get there soon!
When doing your backbend from the standing position only bend your back and look backwards to see how far you have gotten. Not trying to go back but simply bending the back to see the floor. Practice at your own risk.
YO no lie i actually got my 'going into a bridge from standing' on the 2nd day! I didnt use any special equipment like pillows or blankets to be safe. I just used the wall to climb more downwards every time (he didnt mention that). Helps alot! Im using the couch to help me kick over and then im going to use pillows. Good luck yall out there!
Ive been trying to do this for months already! This looks so easy! I get it all! But i still can’t get it! I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong! Ima just give up to be honest :(
You’ll get it trust me ur a girl your probably more flexible. I’m a dude but been stretching for like every day and for long periods of time you’ll get it. I can only fall to the bridge
I can already do A back walk over but in a newer video you posted you said to watch the how to get your back walk over video to help get over the fear of jumping into your back handspring
"the more flexible you are the easier it's going to be" I've been practicing this shit for 3 years and I still can't get it because I'm too flexible... I can literally fold myself over backwards and hold my ankles, but I can't get my legs over for the life of me. I can do it with my feet on a thick mat, but not on the ground.
If you guys are trying to learn how to do a back *walkover* go watch another video because that is not what this guy is showing. He is demonstrating a back *kickover* .Trust me, they are very different.
yo hes mad funny. lmao. thanks! all great points and def is a speed up. i havent moved like this in ages and i can DEF see where this is going. Thumbs up!
Practice your Backbends on your bed. It's also a way to not get hurt, but if you think you are ready, use pillows. And remove one pillow at a time. Another tip is to use a wall, walk your hands do it. Hold it for 5 seconds, then walk your hands back up. This should help you do your backbend. ⬇ Reminder! ⬇ Practice makes perfect.
Try walking your hands down the wall to work on a backbend, and once you get it without a wall. Go for a backbend kickover. Once you have that try do a backbend in a lunge. Then try to end in a lunge. Then when you have those two things go for it!!! I will be uploading a backwalkover tutorial soon as well. Overall I like the video just some tips😉🤗
Tip If using the wall start one leg higher on the wall then as you get used to it then slowest put one leg lower on the wall until your Able to do it with no wall
Some people in the comments write the tips are bad and are scam. I'm a very clumsy person and I've just done a back walk (or kick if you wish) over following his tips (arms wide) from a 15 cm elevation (for legs). The good thing about this video is that pigmie is not especially flexible (same as most men) and back walk/kick over is usually taught by women who have a level of back flexibility merely inaccessible for most men, so their tutorials make absolutely no sence for us, unlike this one. Thanx Lucas!
Tense your arms a little bit the whole time for some people this might happen naturally but for me I kept flopping everyone and again cause I forgot to tense
When I do a back walkover I want to walk on my feet over and I kick all the way back cuz I'm scared if I like fall and hurt myself so yeah I always try to kick my legs back but it's hard to keep your legs back without kicking like a back handspring
