Materials :
25gram of tapioca starch
150ml of tap water
1 teaspoon of glycerin
1 teaspoon of vinegar
The advantages of bioplastic are reduced use of fossil fuel resources, smaller carbon footprint and faster decomposition.
Great explanation and illustration of the chemical process involved in creating the polymer, thanks!
Simply and wonderfully explained! Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks for illustrating the chemical theory behind it, this is so helpful!!
This is such a good, easy to follow video.
Such a great video! Trying to make my own bio plastic film for cosmetic products and this helped me so much. Please post more!
Hi Rachel, did you manage to make your own packaging? Pls share.
An informative and clear video! Kudos! :)
Wow, great job, helped my students make bio plastic
Well done, you did a great job
Girl, this video is everything i was looking for.
Wah.Thanks for the process
Какая умничка ☺️👍🌹
Thank you so much for this great video!
Great job 👏
25g tapioca
150 + ml tap water
1 tsp cuka
1 tsp glycerin
stir
drop colouring
stir on heat
mixture thicken + raise heat
spread on plate
jemur 24 h
Beautiful and smart 😍
Thanks dear, it's very helpful
Thankyou this a great tutorial!
Loved it
Very well explained
thank you for explanation
awesome!
Great ,thaaank U❤❤
great video, thank you: please note that some viewers may need to use distilled water instead of tap water. I wonder if this would work with corn starch?
Wonderful
hi! incredible video, exactly what I was looking for :) will this work for potato starch instead of tapioca?
Very nice
My goodness... I've always been told "there aren't stupid questions", but all questions I see are answered by 99% in the video.
GOD loves everyone
Great video, is it possible to make a thicker surface, will it work? About half centimeter thick?
do you have some resistence test to this bio plastic? what quantity area (dimension of foil) do you obtain from your quatity?
Good
Are there any alternatives to dry up the the thick solution if it's rainy season?
can the bioplastic bowl be given boiling water or hot water?
Is this water proof?
Is your bioplastic water resistant? Is it water soluble?
Hello, can I ask. If this work using different starch?? Like potato or corn starch?
Will the results be the same if I use cornstarch instead of tapioca starch?
Can I add nanoparticles of eggshells in this procedure of making?
how many days does it take to dissolve in water?
it can dissolve in water
is it edible? im trying to make an edible plate with this recipe
can we use this as coating polymer?
What can we do with this thing? I mean, what is the usage for?
Is this bioplastic dissolvable in water?
Thanks for the video. Have you figured out how to make bioplastics less flexible? I'm looking around online for videos where the starch based bioplastics are harder/rigid.
adjusting the amount of glycerin will affect the Young's modulus (flexibility) however it will become more brittle.
she explains it at 4:12
the more glycerin, the more flexible it will be
:)
Hi there Otto. Have you since found a way to make a rigid bioplastic sheet that's not brittle? Really curious!
Is that steel plate on which u put your mixer to dry
Yes. It is steel. In Malaysia we use it to cover our pot.
How can we make bag from this sheet
nak tanya... dia akan jadi elasticity ke?
Can this be eaten ? is it poisonous ?
How much did it cost you
Is it thermoplastic??
Pretty sure you can burn that.
What is this for, I didn't understand
How long did it take to become fully dry?
she said two days
the time stamp is 5:13
:)
@@fishnchips1641 correction it's 5:16
Does that brand of topioca starch have sugar in it?
I thought starch was a form of sugar......
Good evening, may I ask if this project has a research paper and can I get a copy? Thank you.
Aap muje provide kr skte h koi topics . Research liye . Plzz inn experiments pr based
What's the purpose to make this plastic
Pleaaseee why is mine cracking? I need it for a project please tell me if there id a solution
hi rana, mine couldn't be peel off from the tray, have you experienced the same thing? had you found solutions?
Is it edible?😅
no it's not edible
Hi. I have some questions. Are you available to chat?
hello maam?
why not choose waste organic material?
tapioca is one of the main food source..will have another issue if it scale up
It's name a Edible film 🤣
can you give me your email, because i want to ask you something regarding on my research paper
Hello maam. I’m doing research on bio plastics. I want to discuss with you something. May I get your email
