I just find difficult yo believe that they get to a place, build their bamboo houses, plant their veges to profit and the owner of the land does not complain and try to remove them from there? Who is filming them?

This is a different type of culture than us Americans. I've seen podcasts where it looks like the whole community is planting... I live in Central California and when these people first came to our communities their old way of lives where Very different from ours. They would simply go into the Orange Groves and pick their oranges. Or whatever other vegetation there is on the side of the road. They didn't understand that it was against the law here. They are the only people allowed to take fish home with them when they fish in certain lakes, streams whatever. The rest of us have to catch and release. They also built fires in the living rooms of the homes they were renting or buying. It was a very big culture shock for these people. I do however think these podcasts are geared towards our sympathy and the general idea that Americans are spoiled and don't know how to work or build something from nothing.
I find it hard to believe there are people who are not aware enough to realize this woman doesnt live in america. Its not America yo
