Nice vlog Steve. I enjoyed so much ❤❤❤❤❤ FYI: Ramadan is not only fasting. It is also staying away from lies, cheating, sex while fasting, bad behavior, bad words etc etc. Those are haram in normal times as well but in Ramadan those are super Haram.❤❤❤❤❤ So far you are doing great ❤
What these lucrative sehri parties are; they are neo modern culture which do not exactly go with the spirit of Ramadan. No harm in that, we don't judge them, it's their choice. but if you want to observe Ramadan in an Islamic perspective, you should go with in a traditional Muslim way just like you suggested. Try to have sehri in a household and then go to mosque for Fajr prayer. Try to have Iftar in a mosque and Maghrib prayer. Try to pray 5 times in any mosque at least one day. Try to attend in Tarawih at least one day. Gulshan Society Mosque or National Mosque Baitul Mukarram can be a good place for that. Try to spend time with Quran. But I appreciate your effort. You are doing great buddy. And yes, Puran Dhaka is always culturally rich for iftar bazar.
I appriciate it bro 💕💕 By keeping Roza you can understand the pain of poor people while they don't get to eat and it transform your mind to help more to them. It's the main motive of RAMADAN. Ramadan Mubarak, I'm from Chittangong,Bangladesh. Invinting you to have an Ifter with us!
I love your videos because you are very friendly and honest person for me every vidoes will interesting we are enjoying each videos. Love from Sylhet 🇧🇩 Happy Ramadan
Hey Steve! It’s amazing that you took the time out to respond to my comment, and even agreed to incorporate the prayers in one of your upcoming videos. I think your idea of “Mosque hopping” is fantastic! Yay! Looking forward to it! 😃🙌
Hey Steve! That would be so nice if you have a conversation with some of the Imam(Who lead the prayer). They will teach you learn more about Ramadan and Islam😊
you can visit Chowk bazar for iftar seeing this crazy hussle and bustle is a nic experience, but i would suggest you not eat anything cold or something mixed crazy items. its easy to get food posioning , since most of them are not aware of mantaining hygene. better watch the hustle and then find a good traditional restaurants around like "royal restaurant", meanwhile you can shop some iftar items from Ananada backery to eat in the reastaurant along their menu. wishing you happy ramadan. stay hydrated !
we do appreciate man, that you're interested in Islam, "Ramadan". And you're welcome in Bangladesh. We know our Bengalis have many deficiencies. Please maintain respect, which we Muslims are doing. And welcome again to our country . love you dude❤
Assalamualaikum. Good wishes for you. Pls. Try to have some healthy foods like boiled egg. Fresh fruit juice. Fruits and vegetables and lots of water. And try to avoid vajis and junk food. Take care of your health.. Ramadan mubarak.
It is better not to walk in the morning from the fast. You will get tired if you do. Then it's your first Ramadan and it might be a little difficult for you. Allah bless you✨
Hey Steve! I really enjoy your videos and kudos to you for keeping up with the Ramadan challenge! You are doing an incredible job! And your Bangladeshi friends are doing an awesome job as well! I like how Bangladeshi people are inviting you for iftar with open arms, and you are doing the same for others to keep up the spirit of Ramadan alive! I appreciate you being respectful and mindful of this Holy month and following the rituals wholeheartedly! ❤❤ I was wondering would it be possible for you to also incorporate the 5 daily prayers in one of your upcoming videos? It would be great if you can do that. Even if you have one of your Bangladeshi friends perform the prayers (Salah) after Sehri and Iftar that would suffice. I want those watching your cool videos to understand that prayers are an important aspect of Ramadan!🧎🏽🤲🏽 Prayers and asking for forgiveness are an essential part of Ramadan, it nourishes one’s soul just like how we nourish our body with food and drinks. Thanks Steve! Keep up the great work! May Allah accept and reward you for your effort to fast during this Holy month, Inshallah! I pray the same for your awesome Bangladeshi friends as well! Cheering for you and everyone in your videos!!! ❤❤
Fancy things are shown in that Sehri party. If you want local sehri & really want to understand what sehri means to us, you should visit a family, eat homemade foods like rice meals.... Sehri & Iftar is all about bonding... We share this bond with family. Islam believes in simplicity ❣️
Hey Steve, a big part of ramadan is giving charity. “Allah, the Exalted, says, ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” - Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). It is very much encouraged to give charity during ramadan. It helps you to connect with the people who are in need and it gives you a feeling of gratefulness and contentment which is unimaginable. Try to give charity throughout ramadan especially by providing iftar for the needy people. It would mean a lot for them. “A charity is due for every joint in each person on every day the sun comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.” (Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
Brother steve, I would recommend you to not have food like naan for sehri as it would make you more thirsty afterwards... Rice, kebabs are okay but having foods that contain yeast for sehri will make you thristy during your fast
Hi Steve. I'm Fahim from Bangladesh. I regularly follow your posts and I know that you are in Bangladesh right now and enjoying the holy month of Ramadan. I would request you to have Iftar with me and my family one day. My son will be more than happy. He's 10 years old and also likes you. Moreover, I have a vintage car Toyota Corona 1969. You can come and check it out. It's still fully functional. Eager to hear from you. Thank you
Not only do you have to restrain from food and drink but also from bad deeds such as telling lies, stealing, doing adult stuff 😅, even watching adult scenes and videos 💀; so that you havepurity of mind as well as body...and bring yourself closer to your creator 😇
wont recommend running in Ramadan (will drain your energy fast). Its not that tough to go the full day without food, but water is a different thing entirely. Do some walking an hour before iftar.
