I’d also suggest the rebel sl3/200D, I haven’t owned it but I have around the same budget as you and I found something that you can get a little more out of for your money

I've been watching countless videos on cameras the last few weeks and yours were by far the most helpful to me! The way you describe everything is great for beginners who are trying to jump into photo/video projects. Im a dancer and am trying to create some more "cinematic" projects for my choreography, all while traveling throughout that time as well and wanting good pictures of the places I travel to. Im basically sold on the Nikon Z30, but would you recommend something like the Canon M50 or Sony A6100 instead?
Im curious to hear why you sold the nikon z30 because that is the camera I recommend. The m50 is a great second choice

As always, your videos and knowledge is much appreciated. I recently received a Canon Rebel T7 as a gift. I’m getting some really good pictures. A bit too big for daily carry camera. I am partial to smaller good high quality cameras. I’ll be adding the Nikon Z 30 to my collection. Mostly for it smaller size, versatility, and convenience.
I know that cameras are quite expensive, but when 800-900 dls cameras are considered "budget" i get a litle depressed

Canon M50 feels like a good purchase for 2023, it seems to be available at a decent price in recent months.
While this might be due to Canon moving away from the ef-m mount, i think with an adapter it can be a great option to start off and build from moving forward.
Good hardware, easy to use software all while being compact enough to carry around on a daily basis.
Thoughts?
Its a good camera but I would only recommend that camera for photos in 2023. I really like the z50. I have a best photography video coming out very soon

I have just brought my first ever camera, Canon 90D with a stock 18-55 kit lens. Did a lot of research and came to the decision of 90D due to my drive to photo sports and vlog/interview sports players.
i just bought the Nikon D3500 with a 18-55 vr and the 70-300 vr lens with it for only 440 euros with only 940 clicks made on it and im loving it

Almost anything with good video would do it. Currently i really love the z30 for creators. And the slow motion modes for slowing down and movements you want to teach/ breakdown for your audience.

Well, I am happy to be helping. I would recommend the canon r50. its the same price as the z30 but its newer with better tech overall
and for the lens i would recommend a 50 mm or a 35mm lens. The shaprness really depend sont hw quality of the lens but for tiktok and instagram and lens will be find. but add some sharpening to your video in post

I Used Canon 200d as a beginner before in 2015 to 2018 it was best experience for me under 600$ budget. Later upgrade. If you buying camera for person used don't spend much below 1000$ is okay, except you want a camera for production and event covering, movie shoot, photography then you can spend more since its for business purposes.

It would be a downgrade. but it depends what you need it for . If you need to do photos. the m50 is great! but if you need to do photos and video, you are better of with a newer camera like the nikon z50/z30 because they are so close in price

Sorry but $800 cannot be considered a budget camera unless your budget is thousands and thousands of dollars. Last week I purchased a NEW Sony DSC h300 for $49. That is an example of an "excellent" budget camera that can do very good photos and videos. No, not professional grade vids and photos but certainly excellent for beginners. Sony ZV-1 is around $700.
Sony ZV-E10 is around $800.
Cannon T7 is around $400.

Good camera but i think for the price the fx30 is a better camera. I tested the camera this past summer. I never made the review since the fx30 came out right after. For your channel i think the fx30 or the nikon z30 would be much better options
