I am having one heck of a time finding turnbuckles for use on my tractor - since acquiring the tractor, I almost instantly bent a turnbuckle. I purchase a more rigid stabilizer, and that broke as well. I replaced those with the original turnbuckles, knowing that I needed a far superior solution. I ended up picking up some heavy duty chain - seeing that there are solutions that use chain as part of the solution. Now, I am going to pick up a short (and strong) turnbuckle to finish off what I worked up. My point here is that THIS video has been far superior to explaining the very basics that I really had not been finding anywhere else - thank you for posting this video! Super helpful, thanks very much. It was all getting a bit confusing, now I know I have the wrong fittings for the job.
Thanks again

Awesome video, looks like turnbuckles are the way to go for tensioning wire rope 😎👍
Very clear visuals and explanation of turnbuckle operation.
Thank you. Very helpful.
Use to pull a gate door so it will stop dragging the ground?
Does anyone know what the ground fixing is called at the 0:20s mark?
I believe that is a ground anchor, some come with the eye bolt attached and others have a threaded eye bolt.
I bought a 1.5 inch one to pull stumps, hope that works...
Good job!!
One of these will help.
And remember to "Never Saddle a dead horse"!
Thanks!
You bet!
Ah much better with a lower background music but still annoying.
Oh common, ain't annoying anymore for certain - They've done a good job :-)
