MASSENA --Massena Police say they have identified a suspect believed to be invovled with a fire at an apartment complex located at 196 Center Street in the village of Massena.
According to Massena Police Leiutenant Cody Wilson charges are forthcoming.
The matter is still under investigation, however Wilson said a press release will be forthcoming in the near future.
According to a press release from Massena Fire, a call went out at 4:26 p.m. for a structure fire at 196 Center Street in the village of Massena.
Engine 30, Rescue 77, Rescue 79 and Tower 3 were dispatched initially, the release states.
Within nine minutes all residents were removed from the building and the fire was contained to the apartment of origin.

After eight hours on scene Massena Fire Engine 30 and the County Unified Command Vehicle cleared the scene around 1 a.m., officials say.
Massena Fire was assisted on-scene by Massena Village Police, Massena Rescue, St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services, New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control, and New York State Police. The American Red Cross was contacted to help with temporary housing for displaced residents.
