Even though both countries are benefiting out of such arrangement, who benefits more requires different analysis. But in a nutshell, can you indicate us who will benefit more?
Well it is Ethiopia definitely. Since we are really in need of the Dirham, While the UAE has less use of the birr buying some coffee, meat and agro products which definitely not worth 3 billion dirham a year. Plus airlines like the emirates and Fly Dubai can also use the fund as an export income benefiting UAE based airlines liquidity in dirham for tickets sold in Birr locally.

But one thing to consider in my opinion is the remittance that we expect from our people working in UAE where the majority are housemaids who send their full monthly remuneration to assist their families living(even if I have no exact annual figure). Anyways, we shall see the impact once it is put on the ground and start implementation. Thank you again

UAE have several products and commodities that they can export. But our eport is highly limited which is mostly agricultural products. how can we meet or balance the swap? Though they have 46B , how are they going to spend? Also what would happen when 3b & 46b ends?
As i tried to explain in the video the trade volume for this will be limited to until this money is depleted but the second and third MOUs signed are the way to solve this sustainably. (The nations are going to start trading using local currencies and they will make arrangements on how to deal with reserves of local currencies in the future but for now it is only 3 billion aed vs 46 billion birr as you mentioned
