      The Next Big Rush Hey Fabi. I know uranium looks like a great opportunity right now but what do you think will happen to commodity stocks when this huge bubble in equities bursts?

      The Next Big Rush
      Like the name. Reminds me of Marc Faber, "You only need one good investment every 10 years".
      I hope my first 10 year plan is silver and gold. Ideally I'd love to take profits from the PM's and put it in Uranium. I'm asking for some impeccable timing from the Universe! :)

    Two years later, and all of these catalysts and theses still hold, yet uranium prices are unchanged or have fallen. If this isn't a gold-mine of a presentation for 2020, I don't know what is.

      TheFinnmacool I am a long term share holder of Energy Fuels. uuuu. Invest at your own risk. No one knows when the market will recover. But uranium is 20 percent baseload in u.s and the renewables are a much smaller part of the energy mix. China wants to have as much reactors as u.s or more and they are only like 5 percent of uranium is part of their energy generation. Other countries are building reactors. People dont realise how much land is used for wind farms and for solar.. The u.s producers are very interesting because there is like only 4 or so. Yet they are the biggest consumer of uranium.

    Ticker symbol: WUC - Western Uranium Corporation. Near term producer in the United States. CEO is uranium legend George Glasier. He started Energy Fuels and made investors 49x their money from 2005-07.

      Julius Cabrera Western uranium..hmm could be good am not sure if its producing but wont be as big as Energy Fuels yet so am not investing. My fav is Energy Fuels. They got the mines they are producing and they got the mill. Some say if they got the mill they own the district. Invest at your own risk though...

    Excellent Analysis.
    Can someone comment on the future outlook for Uranium in the US?
    Over the last five years the following nuclear plants have retired:
    1.) Fort Calhoun
    2.) Vermont Yankees
    3.) Crystal River
    4.) San Onofre
    5.) Kewaunee
    The lost production was replaced by a mixture of Solar, Coal and Natural Gas.
    The following Nuclear plants are set to retire in the coming decade
    1.) Clinton
    2.) Quad Cities - Illinois
    3.) Pilgrim
    4.) Oyester Creek
    5.) Diablo Canyon 1
    6.) Diablo Canyon 2
    Would one be correct in concluding that the US demand will continue to decline; meanwhile the demand in China picks up? Would love to hear some macros commentary on this.

    • @interests1094
      @interests1094 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maninder Minhas well u.s has around nearly a hundred reactors so it isnt going anywhere. China has like over 40 reactors i think. And building more. So are other nations. People dont realise that wind solar and hydro or anything else is only a small percent of the energy mix. I think solar and wind to power countries alone is sci fi. And how much land and forests are needed to lay solar panels and wind farms? Uranium is efficient..but its a volatile market.. Coal..nat gas can't compete with uranium, not on an emissions level. It is a small market uranium maybe that's why it could be explosive. My fav are the u.s producers but invest at your own risk..

  • @interests1094
    @interests1094 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    My thesis is this, the uranium space is in some ways similar to other stocks, in the way..is that it makes sense to own sound companies, although still speculation, won't be as much risk as say, a stock that doesn't have an advantage over the competition. I own some mainly speculation stocks, these are developers and building a mine, so with risk. But I like Energy Fuels because they are producing and have merged with some other uranium players in the u.s. Was the dominant producer of uranium in 2017 in the u.s. I am a shareholder. If you are investing in this, or any other uranium stock, invest at your own risk.

    Uranium will come back. It's not if, but when. Japan will keep a few of the 54 closed reactors closed. However, it is important to note that the Japanese government has spent BILLIONS to make the remaining reactors safe. The INTENT to reopen the remaining reactors not yet reopened, is there. China, Russia and India are going heavily into building new reactors.New reactors typically secure supply by buying 7 years of uranium inventory. Germany may have closed their reactors, HOWEVER, they use a lot of the energy generated by French reactors, where they obtain about 85% of all their electricity from nuclear reactors.
    PLUUF, a Canadian company doing mining in business friendly Peru, has both uranium and lithium.
    UUUU is the biggest uranium miner in the USA, has done very well the past year, up over 100%. They also do INSITU mining, and processing. I hold both...

    As I see it, the production that has been taken off-line will come right back on-line when the demand returns. This is just another pump by a guy who must be heavily invested in this space. There is plenty of supply so I am not buying into this BS. Good luck to everyone invested. I'm thinking it is just about time to get out of the markets and wait for the big crash - then buy big.

    • @parkerbohnn
      @parkerbohnn 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The guy's a fast talking huckster. Fact is anything that made any sense in the past 8 years would have put everyone into the poor house. The stock market went up when it should have gone down and made lower lows than the March 09, 2009 low. Gold went up then down when it should have gone up. The bankers are very good at reading the playbooks and knowing what the public will do and then do the exact opposite with hundreds of billions of dollars to squeeze everyone with.

    Seriously. These comments made in 2017 about expected situation at end of 2018 look super interesting to me, th-cam.com/video/gfvAIor53Ig/w-d-xo.html
    "54 reactors shut down and the market thought they would come on a lot sooner but it's taken a long time you only have five approvals for up and running and there's only one more to come and but by 2018 by the end of 2018 we think there will be about 18 up and running but still it's had a tremendous drag on the price of uranium as you look down so what's the existing narrative well the miners are getting killed nuclear power is declining natural gas is going to take over Japan still not up and running there's way too much secondary supply and there's way too much inventory and we're going to address all of that we're going to knock each part of that narrative down and why I think the bear case is rather weak right now"

      "When I spoke in 2017 we didnt have a lot of the prod cuts. so much supply is offline I’d say so on that front. The fundamentals are ridiculously better today then then. If 232 were never filed price discovery would have happened a year ago and we’d already be on our way" #MikeAlkin #FootnotesFirst #UraniumBullMarket

      Allow me to explain. You suggested that the fed and other central banks could just keep printing money and all will be well and that nothing bad would happen to the markets. What you fail to realize here is that the markets are up and touching record heights BECAUSE of the money printing. The housing market is at the highest point, the stock market is at the highest ever point, mergers and acquistions in the corporate sphere are happening at record valuations - all while the US soverign debt has doubled in the last ten years, student loan delinquncies are increasing, auto loans are going sour at a faster rate and to top it off the wages of the middle class have seen a very modest increase. If this is not the recipe for a crash to you, I do not know what would be. If I were you, I would be shorting conservatively.
