Neil is a quality player, and this loss against me does not really reflect, what he can do ..... on the other day, the result would be totally different
You look like you beat yourself here before the match even started. Body language in the first two sets was very negative. For sure he was on the better side of nets/edges but look at the reaction from the very first point in the match. If you're not in the right mental headspace aswell I would recommend taking your minute between each game to settle yourself down and think about the next set. As an aside, he was also abusing your wide FH a bit as you were pivoting quite a lot. As always, these are my objective thoughts and I know that everyone has bad games and it's easy to comment in retrospect.
@@matty369 spot on mate, you’re getting to know me well! I’m not sure what was wrong with me, this was the last match of the night (I’d also played Annie MacDonald but it didn’t record - I lost 3-1) and I kind of felt a bit deflated after losing the first two, I just couldn’t get going and had no energy for this. I needed a bloody good kick up the backside 😂
@@imperu same as my reply to Matty. I was deflated after losing the first two matches and just couldn’t get into this. I was a little disappointed as it’s not often I’m so lethargic right from the start of a match, will make sure I keep this to a minimum!
@@neilmyatt1980 I feel you, it can happen. You're a better player than this one. Thanks for posting it even though it must be a hard one. Next time you can at least win against this guy.
Think you`re opponent broke the world record for nets and edges there Neil!!
😂
well I can confirm that Juri is very good in nets and edges….when he gets on this wave its neverending, believe me. good match 👍
@@kubiki44 yep, he’s a good lad too so I can live with it 😃

You played well all night Juri, always tricky to play you with your unconventional style! Looking forward to playing again soon 👍🏼

It appears that you were too stiff and not relaxed from the start. What happened?
