Maybe it's just me hoping to be able to help them get out of it and then i end up growing a relationship with them from there when all i really wanted was just to help them, i don't know, all i do know for certain is it hurts, but you don't have any other choice than to just ignore it and move on with life, finding things to keep you busy until the pain fades away, i guess that can't work for everyone, but it is all that kept me going for multiple years of my life
