Trail Running Mt. Fuji on the Gotemba Trail

- Trail running or fast hiking… The Gotemba Trail is considered the hardest of the trails up Mount Fuji. It is just over 10 miles (6 up and 4 down) with just over 7,000 feet of vertical gain and lots of soft and shifting gravel. It took me just over five hours, which was about twice as long as I expected; and I worked hard for it.
