- The Hue Go looks fantastic and can be run either from wall power or a battery, making it a very versatile smart light.

Nice review thank you ! May I ask how long is the charging cable ?
Such a helpful review. Thank you so much!
Is the Philips Hue Go something I could put in my closet to help light it up or is there a better solution for that? None of my smaller closets have lights, and it'd be nice to see better.
Can it stay plugged in with wire all the time?
Yes
Yup!
Great review! didn’t know i had to hold it for 10 seconds for it to power off lol i would just click it for 2 secs and now i know why it was always dying so quick 😂
Haha I had to look it up
Is it wireless
Can you have it sync with music or sound?
Yes I believe you need a bridge and to set up entertainment zones.
Thanks for the great review. I used to control it with the Hue dimmer switch (first version) and now have the new version Hue dimmer switch but am unable to unpair it from the old switch. Do you have any experience with this?
Did you go into the hue app and go to accessories and change what it is set to control?
@@adamtalkstech I forgot to mention I don't have a hue bridge and control my light over Bluetooth only and with the dimmer switch. So the switch doesn't show anywhere in the app, I guess because I'm not using a bridge.
Yeah you have to have the bridge in order to do more programming stuff. I didn't even know you could use just the remote without a bridge@@danielmuller4829
Good review. How do I check the battery level?
I think you have to use the app
I have the Hue app with the Hue Go, but don't see any battery level@@adamtalkstech
@@adamtalkstechI have 3 of them and I don't think there is a way to check the battery level (even through the app), nor is there a way to know when the battery is fully charged when it's plugged.
yeah i had it for a couple months now hoping they would add battery status to the app but there isn’t any. i love this product but that is my only con to it. feel like any portable lamps or leds products if wireless & portable should have batter status on the app.
Can I leave it plugged in or is that really bad for the battery?
Yes you can. It’s probably not good for the battery but I did for years
@@adamtalkstech Okay thanks!!
I'm returning this lamp. So not worth the money. Its nice but it cost double the worth.
It all depends on what you compare it to.
Mine won’t last long
Wonder if you got a bad unit
