This song makes me cry every time I listen to it... it's what I dedicated to my grandparents who I wouldn't have survived growing up without... I had an absolutely horrible childhood, but my grandparents never turned there backs on me and always had there door open for me no matter what my situation was... I would give everything up just to spend one more day with them....
Maynard has said he listens to the music that's created for days, weeks, even months to capture just how it makes him feel. He said he'll listen in his car, on his home system, in his studio, on his cell phone, in the shower etc...just everywhere he can, so it's part of him. He's a brilliant modern day poet plain and simple and he's go 2 MORE BANDS TOO !! A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, both of which are amazing!
Another fan favourite that I think is tough for the average listener to get, especially on a first listen. Took me a bit to warm up to it and now I love it! Keep it up guys!
You guys could really do their entire catalog from beginning to end, one song at a time. And you would have the Tool army following along with every single one.
@@Sinted Song is about how maynard would give up everything for just one more day with his mother...the whole album was about her passing and his coming to terms with it.
Bruh launched a gut rocket just as the song started, and they both had to sit there in the stench pretending nothing was wrong for the sake of the video. 🤣
He stopped using the talk box playing live, instead using a wah to get the sound. I didn't realize he had Joe Walsh come in and get the settings and set up right though. That's cool. Adam, the guitarist, put out on his Instagram, while doing his recording for the last album, that he'd bought the Leslie speaker cab that was owned and used by Keith Emerson with his B3 Hammond organ. The Leslie Cab is the one that has the variable speed rotating horn that gives the B3 organ that iconic vibrato. He bought it from Emerson's estate after he died, to use on the last album and showed pics of it being delivered to the studio.
@@J-RivtheMCnProducer My bad, in 2020 I noticed he was using a wah at the show I was at for this song, but I just checked and the last time I saw them in 23 he was back to using the talk-box.
They're right. You should go back and start from the beggining. Showing them their later stuff is like starting to read a book from the end, makes a lot less sense.
If this one's too heavy, I'd stick to the newer albums for these guys to listen to. "Invincible" or "Culling Voices". Their older music might be a bit too metal for them until they get acclimated to their sound. My advice, start them off easy, get em hooked, and work your way up to heavier stuff gradually (kinda like a drug dealer, lol).

Tool Army here! more Tool please! This song is fucking amazing live!
You should do all their albums and start from the beginning.
It won’t hurt to go over the lyrics when you finish the song, lyrics are a major part of Tool

From what I’ve heard it’s about his son
If you know Tools humor a fart noise is normal and even expected. 😂

Maynard thought the base line sounded like the catch phrase of the genie on pee wee's playhouse so the named the song after him Jambi
All in for this
Frampton! I always wondered about that. Talk box! One of my fav songs of all time. Now i know how its done.
I know you've seen this but........Pneuma drum cam please!

I saw them recently and Adam used the talk box for the solo then. Maybe he had a change of heart.

Don't hate me. The song is Aenema from the Aenima album. 😊
