Graceful as always, mate. May I suggest you to do a guide on 2H weapons (like the Bill hook or Spiked Lance) and Poking/Thrusting? And maybe a tip for you, if you don't know already: when your weapon's stuck on the opponent, double LMB draws it back to you. It may not draws it but it does the best to accomplish it, and also causes damage.

I have the pole arms down where I have control and precision but the long sword just shakes unpredictably without any edge alignment. What’s the trick? I already have the mouse sensitivity to near minimum, btw.
@@OVRDTH These swords go through the gambesons wayyy too easily. Cuts shouldnt really slice through nearly as often as this. Thrusts would be the name of the game against a person wearing this kind of armor.
@@user-ol2ss6me6n I believe these to be doublets not gambesons. It’s also hard to tell how hard and fast I’m swinging in first person WITH slow motion.

The second time I got most of the way through when I was like "..hang on this is familiar" And that happened to me five times before I finally disliked the video so that I could tell it was the same f***ing video

The physics in this are really wonky but I’m expecting some polish with time, looks like fun. However idk if I can take hours and hours of basically not great dueling against bad AI.

With the amount of time exanima has been being refined for I’d honestly disagree about one not being able to be as good as the other but I think half sword is a wonderful addition to physics based gaming and a really fun game.
@@lilshawty2605 I agree actually. Exanima is very refined, even more so after the movement update. I guess I can see them being on par mechanically as Half Sword develops a bit more. For an experimental version in early alpha, I'm genuinely impressed.
This game is the most unrealistic shit i have ever played. Whenever i use a sword i slice through armor like butter but a pole arm does nothing. Why does this happen? When i use a sword i win everytime but with Pole arm i lose to sword weilders because the pole arm does no damage to them.
I see weapon not ignorung armor. If you will add this mechanics it will be very close to realism: "You need put minimum 3 types of points: 1 - Speed 2 - Streight 3 - Stamina And give player 100 points. If he rising up streight his points of stamina must fall, but this can give him power for wrestling and crushing bones by heavy weapon. Speed master must be fast, but cant wrestle good and his hits not powerful and if he stand against man in heavy armor he cant hit him and must search weak points in armors for stab, third person of them it is fighter whos stamina level is high and he can strong enough long time and use his advanced stamina skills to make his opponent tire and week and then kill him."

@@OVRDTH The billhook is quite strong indeed. I place my sens between the U and the S with 800DPI for 2 handers, works for me.

Exanima is a lot harder to control with much more refined physics and dueling

The weapons seem to have no weight, it's like watching kids slap eachother with sticks...
Weapons are weighted historically. A longsword is about 5 pounds.
