Your measurements are generous and eye balled so using metrics cups and spoons won't work it will be dry for sure. For those whom not use to baking may end up using more butter or ghee and that might result in over soggy dough or too oily. Your suggestions converting your measurements in gram would be much appreciated and this way it would give a perfect finished product every time will less frustration. By looking at the way u are being generous with the ingredients shows this cookie is very soft moist rich and super tasty. Thank you for sharing and keep more delicious recipes coming...much love

Important note when making this using this recipe, for the cup measurement I believe recipe is not calling for standard measuring cup and spoon. I used 3 full standard cup measurement but ended up very dry, which means cup in recipe might be smaller in volume, hence I realized measurements mentioned were not according to standard measurements. End up I had to add extra 3 more Tbs of ghee, 1 more Tbs butter and 1 more egg yolk to ensure the dough is wrappable. However luckily it is still a successful one at the end, with huge adjustments. It would be better to add as gram rather than cup, just my two cents, thank you.
You are absolutely correct. Hence that is the main reason why I put it in my video that you must adjust at the end, either by adding the flour or the ghee/butter to ger the desired dough that can be shaped. Dear, trust me, many people does not have measurement cup and still many people does not have the weighing machine, and that is the reason why I used the normal household cup - not to discourage people from doing it! With the tip of adjusting at the end. Btw, my scopes on ghee and butter are very generous if you notice in the video to show that it is not a normal scope but a hip full scope. Your comment triggered me to greatly consider to add grams too in my measurement and I think I will do that. I am glad that you write this comment because from there, I would be able to see what i could improve to facilitate various type of needs. Macam ni, telur kuning tetap 1 biji dan minyak sapi cair ikut tahap boleh uli dough. Itu cara orang lama. Masuk minyak sapi sedikit sedikit dan uli. InsyaAllah jadi
Biar sejuk dulu dan baru masuk kuning telur sahaja tau. Kacau bagi sebati baru tuang atas tepung. Makmur buat kecil kecil baru comel. Hak saya buat tu terbesar cikit. Rasa InsyaAllah sedap !

Boleh tapi rasa dia kurang sedap sebab QBB sangat sedap. Tak apa boleh lah tapi butter guna good quality tau. Ramai dah cuba resepi saya dan kata sedap dan gebu. So cuba tau ... telur kuning satu ... putih jangan.....
Bakar sekitar 15 to 20 min tetapi tengok tengok sama api ... saya akan sentiasa nasihat masa lebih rendah sebab setengah oven suhu tak betul dan boleh hangit ....
Boleh kalau nak but jangan banyak ... 2 cubit sudah InsyaAllah rasa lemak ! Telur kuning itu pun fungsi dia sama. Sebab tu resepi tart dan almond london semua masuk satu kuning telur tau.

Honestly, you should try as this is really good and many had tried successfully. Now let me try measure it in grams fir you. But remember the most important rule : if too hard, add a bit by bit flour : if too soft, add ghee bit by bit !
Lily Calla ok Lily macam ni. 1 cawan tepung sama dengan 120 gram. 1 sudu besar ghee atau butter yang saya guna dlm resepi ini, sama dengan 60 to 70 gram. Tapi ingat, kalau dough too soft, campur sikit tepung gandum dan kalau keras, tambah ghee or butter. Ok?
Adek boleh pakai planta tapi mesti kena pakai QBB punya minyak sapi. Sebab dia kena rasa minyak sapi tulen. Cap cow atau windmill tak sedap terus terang. Beli QBB tin kecik pun tak pa sebab murah sikit ....

Boleh juga guna Gheeblend tapi yang terbaik ialah QBB. Rasa lebih sedap dan wangi. Kalau rasa mahal sangat, guna Gheeblend tak apa dik.

Just incase, I cup flour is 120 g and 1 spoon heap is about 70g ....
