Thanks. Are you still using them? I ordered a pair on Amazon today. I mainly want to block out background noise so that I can do a better job editing my voice recordings. They could be useful when working at coffee shops, I imagine.

Yes they do block out a decent amount of background noise, i'm still using them but have also purchased some Shure in ear monitors aswell. They sound better and block out more noise but are fiddly to get in ear, i use the Alesis when im jamming on the V drums for a quick half hour. Still going strong!

is the blue cable detachable from the headphones? because i tried to remove it but it felt too hard , and i have seen another video of this drp 100 where it is detachable.
