THE PROGRAM IS NOT A VIRUS. PLEASE STOP SAYING IT IS.
Windows and Chrome may say it is but it is not. It most likely says it's a virus because the program takes control of your mouse and it was published by an unknown person. If you want to run the program but don't want to run the exe files, just run the Python scripts.

Photo will automatically converted to 200x200 then downsized using this formula: x/(10-Detail+1)
So a detail of 8 will make the photo 67x67
Tldr just set it to 8,9, or 10
10 may be too much depending on the machine

It only draws with one color, the one selected. I did all the color stuff, did the test, and saved it. Still only draws in tan though
when i click test colors position it lines up perfectly near the middle of the board but then when i do the things like choose image, set boundary box and line placement and click draw it just keeps clicking the board and the corner of the screen
Hi there! Just wanted to ask if it's possible to set a very small delay before drawing each line? Because I'm using it in another software, and it does not keep up with the speed of drawing, unfortunately. I saw that you've set "sleep" time to 0.00001, can it be changed? With a button perhaps? I'm not good at python, that's why I can't compile it myself, unfortunately. Can you help me with this? Adding a delay option?
Cool, but it only paints in black and white. How do I fix this?

I have an problem every time it painted somthing at the end of the round the drawing just shows a few dots or lines
when i click draw image with the boundaries set, my mouse keeps going in the top left corner of my pc and spams it
can you help me? it tryies to get colors but just misses everything and draws dots on side
I saw the top comments and what info about gartic phone that hasn’t been brought up is that there isn’t only those limited color you see on the page. If you click on the huge box that represents the color currently picked, you’ll be able to access a color picker that you would find in any art program. I don’t know anything about code so I don’t know if you can incorporate it into the program, I just wanted to let you know about this.
Wow. I can't believe I didn't know about this. Thanks for the info. As for incorporating it into the code, it would be hard as my code is so hard to read and I don't remember most of it and I'd basically have to recode the entire program.
@@cowcoding dang that sucks, would have loved to use this on my friends to mess with them. I could still use the current version, but setting it up seems a bit confusing.
i have a little problem, i can't use the 10 quality because it causes me to loose connection, i have tried activating the slow mode and switching browsers but it doesn't seem to work, is there anything i can do to prevent that and still have a quality 10 image?
Sorry about that. I think what's happening is the every time the program puts down a dot it has to send that data to gartic and if you have dont have a good enough internet connection it'll just die. You can try line mode because, in theory, it shouldn't be placing as much stuff as dot mode
When I click do test some colors are created as dots and some as lines, what should I do?
Whenever the round is over it only shows black (where the black is )
yo pleassee help me i tried everything i tried everything like slow mode i even lowered the quality tried line mode but when i finish it the picture isn't even there its just 2 dots
seems like my black and white lineart drawing is too much for the bot to handle (thermal shutdowned my pc)
Hey this works perfectly but is there any reccomended resolution for the image i too ka simple black and white and it started using grey and some red and looked pretty bad
Yeah sorry the colors it chooses do look pretty bad. Try using clip arts images because they are more simple
does it work on discord's voice call in server? like theres a thing where play gartic phone so i was wondering if it works or not.

Lil bit of a problem though.. gets colors wrong sometimes, used squidward it thought his skin was grey. But thats about all it does weirdly on! tysm again
Thank you very much! The whole reason I made the bot was because I used one before and the setup process took way too long. I am aware of the coloring issues and I have to come up with a better algorithm for determining which color should be drawn. Thank you again!
@@cowcoding YW! will the new algorithm be posted? btw yes, the set up process on the others take agess! And are you able to make the smallest size pen compatible with the drawing? The smallest pen usually has spaces between lines. If not that is fine
@@toastcart8211 After using the method that shallowsky.com/colormatch uses it still puts Squidward's skin as gray which makes sense because his skin tone is probably closer to the gray that Gartic Phone uses than the Light Blue that Gartic Phone uses. I think the new method is more accurate but idk. If you need to, just used the paint bucket to fill in his skin with Light Blue. As for the pen issue, try uses a smaller drawing boundary. I see your issue but I don't think there is really any real way to fix it. I will upload the new files shortly. Thanks for you input!

I have no clue if this is just me but whenever I choose a drawing, It only draws in one colour, even after I do the colour setup and then save it, is there any fix to this?

Guys this software IS NOT A TROJAN, the antivirus marks it because it takes the control of the mouse, obviously.

@@cowcoding Yea, the software is just marked as a Trojan by some anti virus but it doesn't mean is a malware. Is a false positive

Not that I'm aware. Make sure you're setting up color positions correctly and that the window doesn't move at all.

ok so i click the positions, but it doesnt display all the colors instead it moves the mouse cursor above the entire color panel for some reason

I have an issue where I do all the steps correctly and I do the color test. But when i click draw image, it just fills the box of the two points i made and tries to fill it in with just one color. It's not even drawing it just poorly fills in a box

You need python and the modules the program uses. I would suggest using the exe files unless you know what you're doing

Good program, i like it.
I highly recommend trying a dithering algorithm on your images before painting.
For example, Wikipedia's Floyd-Steinberg dither is very simple, and I've done it several times for my own programs.
In a nutshell: it helps to draw a gradient between colors with a limited number of colors.
This is bad for sharp shapes, but very good for high resolution soft images.
Thanks for your input, I might look into it. I just threw the program together in a couple hours and it was more of a "can I do it " kind of thing. Also wdym TikTok ? I've never posted any videos on there 🤔

It draws fine, but when its done it says my connection is lost and I get kicked out of the game.
Try slow mode. The whole reason I added that was because I have a slow internet connection.

Where did you put the file after downloading it? You can try running as administrator.

color test works but its not changing colors when drawing
when I activate the bot it tries grabbing colors from the middle of the screen... i see the dots in the shape of the color palette
Are you sure you press save at the end of the color test. This will save the coordinates of the colors to a file which the main program reads.

Try moving your window to the right of the screen. The color test clicks slight to the right of the colors and I think of there is a window there, it'll click on the window
@@cowcoding ty i fixed it, for some reason only one color in the drawing is working but i don't think this is a problem
i did everything but somehow my colors are always slightly in the wrong place
I know this is a bit late try clicking in slightly different places on the colors when setting it up

When you click the program will auto open the menu to configuration. But for me to open i need to do example > python example.py to the program to open... makes sense?😬

You are running the py file which means you need Python to run it and the modules the program uses. Use the exe instead.

Don't use Python if you dont know how to use it. Use the exes, that's why I put them there .

It flashes something on terminal on screen for a split second but never runs anything...
Just run the exe. Using python requires you to pip install the modules the program uses

Everyone is saying that it works but when i uploaded the image and clicked draw image it started opening google chrome tabs where it downloaded malware extensions. Not recommend at all.
That's very funny because it doesn't do that. You probably set it up wrong and it started clicking random things. Stop lying

Not a virus. Windows thinks it is because it is from an unknown origin and is not signed. Stop spreading misinformation

Try doing it in slow mode they may be the issue

@@cowcoding never mind i got it working had to delete all of it and download the old stuff only thing i wish was better was color detection and how it substitutes colors but other than that its great and gives a good image

How do i run it
Just download GetColorPositions.exe and DrawBot.exe and follow the video instructions.
When i open GetColorPositions with python it just turns off instantly

I ran it exactly how I was supposed to and it didn't work. I uninstalled it and cleaned my computer, and my mouse is still freaking out... Does anyone have a fix?
There's gotta be something else going on there's no reason for your mouse to be messing up after restarting your computer
