From a design standpoint it actually makes a lot of sense. If you didn't know what a compound bow was "supposed to" look like, you'd probably end up with something like this. It looks odd, but the only thing I think would actually bother me is looking through the riser at the sight.
@@Liam-ql7tr I wasn't really analyzing that so can't give a more accurate account. I saw so many products at the ATA show that I can't really say. When I looked at them I was paying more attention to how it felt when it shot not so much what the finish looked like. Nothing about it stood out so that is partly a good thing. If it was a cheap-looking finish then it would have stood out. Since it didn't stand out as cheap, I noted it as normal, or fine.
Do you think you will get to shoot one set up sometime? Out side and some real hunting distances. I seen PJ from Lancaster shoot one out side and it seemed nice.
No I don't think that will happen for me. PJ has the largest archery equipment provider in the country. He can shoot anything he wants. I'm just an average guy with a TH-cam channel. I have access to very little
@@seansoutdoors "average guy with a youtube channel"...yup...but giving us a true honest opinion, non biased by brands or markets. Very important and useful so! Thanks a lot to do this for us. Just keep going like this, average man ;)
@@seansoutdoors Sean, I understand that , but good youtubers like yourself, I feel, give the most honest reviews. PJ is awesome , but . Thanks for all you do.
I've been watching your videos since I got my 1st bow...always valuable info. Thank You.
Thanks
E.A.G.L.E.S. Eagles!!!! Nice quick review and great sweat shirt

I am looking to upgrade from the dimond edge edge sb1 and this is really neat and This is awesome
Thanks for watching
Fascinating bow !
Thanks
What did you think of the fit and finnish of the Gearhead ?
The finished seemed fine to me. I'm curious what it would be like with a quiver and stabilizers etc.
@@seansoutdoors Sean "fine" is not a great way to rate... lol. so your saying out of 5 and 5 being best it would be 2.5/3 of 5

Saw and handled one of these at the local archery range. Solid bow, not for me, but definitely a solid product.

Nice! I've been wondering if you were going to get to shoot one of these.
Yup!
There’s no way that bow can maintain torsional rigidity with just a few connection points between the riser rails...
Have you shot one?
I shoot the T18, 239 FPS at 55lbs draw weight. LOVE it. so much... I am a saddle hunter btw. Full review on my channel.
Awesome. Enjoy it
Did anyone else see the rust on the screws on the riser?
I didn't see rust and I was standing right there. Maybe it's something with the lighting and video but I didn't see rust when I was there in person.
It may have been
1:08 inside of the riser
Nice looking bows but the prices are totally ridiculous
Understandable
Do people actually use these? Crazy looking
Yes
GearHead is *legit!*
Yeah very nice
Interesting
