I love ICECO, bought my first one 5-6 years ago (VL45 single zone) and can't say enough good things about their quality and durability! Very robust product! I just received a new APL35 dual zone (to go by myself instead of the whole tribe!) and I am still impressed by their quality and durability, truly a workhorse that looks awesome. Thank you for the review!

Looks like a great fridge! If I didn’t already have an Iceco Go that I love I would definitely pick one up - wish my Go Series had the aluminum finish!

Yeah, I just finished up my first trip with it and it was great. It was nice to have the extra room in my jeep since it was just me and I didn’t have to take up so much room with a larger fridge.

The ambient temps are critical to knowing run times. Any run times are meaningless without know this. You may keep your house at 60F and I may keep mine at 80F and the fridge run times will be drastically different at those temps. I have an Iceso frig.

The aluminum interior also makes it more stain resistant and easier to clean.

The inside being aluminum is super cool. Reminds me on a fridge from the 60s

Yeah. It’s got cool retro styling for sure.

Hey, this little fridge is awesome. I have several and I might have to pick up one of these anyway. Love the rugged design and it seems to be insulated better than most.
Wanted to comment however... for those new to this stuff... don't expect to get the run time mentioned in the video. It is very efficient... 20--30% more efficient according to Iceco vs their other models. But there is no way to get 5+ days on a 500wh battery in "normal" ambient temps and normal 35-40* fridge temp. Not saying it didn't somehow last 5 days, but that's not normal. That means it only kicked on and ran for about 5 minutes per hour...averaging only 4 watts of power over 124 hours.
Expect max of 2 days in actual use. Iceco's own "lab data" lists this fridge at 293wh per day. That's 1.75 days for a 515wh battery, and that is more in line with what you normally expect for "normal" conditions. If you camp in the winter, maybe it will run for weeks. In Florida in the summer.. be lucky to get 24 hours :)

Hey. Just FYi. I’m currently using it Florida and it’s been running fine for 3 days so far. I don’t disagree with you though. I don’t expect it to run for 5 days in the wild, but that’s what it didn’t when I tested it. So I passed that info along. But it’s running a solid three days so far and at about 40 percent.

@@SimplyMustGo Cool.... appreciate the video and info. This little fridge must be insulated really well vs others. I have one of the old school ARB 37qt...got that one about 15 years ago. Now I have a bunch of the newer ones in different sizes, including several ICECOs. Curious... what is the current draw while the compressor is running? I will have to check a could of mine to compare.. but if I recall, it's normally around 50 watts while running. Not sure about Eco mode vs Max etc. Also... would be great to update what you think of it after some normal use.

@@teamfusionracing it seems to be around 24w. But like you mentioned, I often check on it and it’s not pulling anything.

@@SimplyMustGo Thanks. That is really low draw from what I know of. I just noticed something different about this unit. Iceco says it uses a new smaller "nano" compressor. That explains how it's so light, and might explain why it's running so effecient... even more than they claim. Very interesting. Now I wonder what other fridges are using that compressor now, or if we will see others start using it. The latches must do a good job keeping it air tight too. My VL45 does pretty good and it also has latches on the lid.

@@teamfusionracing in fact. After I read your comment I paid more attention to what it was pulling and most of the time when it was pulling it was pulling 13
