Great, thank you so much! On important addition for anyone using an XP Pen tablet: In addition to the changes here, you also need to open the XP Pen config application and turn Windows Ink OFF in the Pen Settings section. Otherwise the pen won't work at all with these changes. If you are doing photo editing instead of drawing you will probably also want to go to Brush Settings > Shape Dynamics in Photoshop and change the minimum diameter to 100% or something close to it, otherwise you'll have problems doing shading, dodging and burning etc. (soft pressure will create narrow shading lines, which you don't want).
Hey I have the newer version of the xp pen software . I am not able to find how to use relative mode. It is default in absolute mode and the only way to make it to relative mode is to select the mouse mode option but if I do that I am not getting pen pressure. If you know how to solve this issue kindly help 🙏

Had to try it twice but it did work! First time I typed the text in myself, didn't work. Second time I copy-pasted and left the AppData folder open, opened PS from the same shortcut, and it worked. Thanks for the fix!

2024 and it still works! Thank you very much, mate. I just thought my Huion Kamvas 22 was broken (not even updating drivers, formatting the PC or reinstalling Photoshop I managed to fix this issue). I had several art pieces I wanted to finish and I didn't manage till I got to your video :).

Very nice. My problem was manifesting in a different manner, but this solution still worked.
My issue was if I was using my Tablet Driver's Pressure Sensitivity setting, it wouldn't show my brush stroke until I lifted the stylus.

Been a while since I opened up Photoshop and used my tablet. I have a Wacom Intuos 3. Very old, but still working great. Except Wacom dropped support. Still works on Windows 10 with older drivers, but couldn't get the pen pressure to work with Photoshop. Which is one of the main reasons to have a pen-tablet in the first place.
So I'm glad I still can use my trusty Intuos 3.

Updated to Photoshop 2021 latest version and it totally broke my Pen Pressure settings in Photoshop... was still working in CLIP STUDIO so I knew it was something wron from Adobe's side.

Surely Adobe gets constant support requests for this issue. I guess they don't care. If this isn't working for you: versions 21.1.3+ included a "fix" from Adobe for the original problem, but that fix is broken by the workaround in this video. If the PSUserConfig solution worked for you in the past but doesn't now, try removing PSUserConfig.txt and turning Windows Ink BACK ON in the tablet properties. There was also a recent Wacom driver update for many devices, I'd make sure that's installed and then restart for good measure. The PS update screwed me up at first, after having used the solution in the video a long time ago. But now everything is working fine using up-to-date PS & drivers, no PSUserConfig, and Windows Ink checked. Yes this is frustrating, but ultimately Adobe has now made it so that the *default configuration* works correctly...the problem is that messes things up for all of us who have been working around this issue for years. Good luck everyone and thanks Meemansak TECH.

First it didn't work. Then i removed ".txt" from the PSUserConfig.txt
Now its only PSUserConfig , and the pressure sensitivity is working fine👍🏽
