I was wondering why the pen pressure wouldn't work, but literally just adjusting the pressure bit to be a curve instead of a straight line fixed it! And tapering the pen tip also helped, thank you!

After optimizing and then this, I’m very pleased with what krita has turned into on my pc, from a laggy barely running app to a smooth feeling drawing program, now to learn all the shortcuts and workarounds lol

Sorry to hear that. I have a Huion Kamvas pro 16 (4K) tablet, and it worked. I wonder why it didn't work with yours? Try again and make sure to close and restart Krita after following the instructions. Also, maybe restart your computer. Let me know how it goes.

Sometimes all you have to do is close and open Krita because Krita sometimes opens wrong.

this is the ONLY video that actually helped me. I had a box that said "support Digital Ink", and once I checked it, it fixed it. Tysm!

I tried to draw the lines, but they are not tapered and they are round at the end. I was using the Basic-5 size.
