I think your relation to BotW is somewhat similar to what some people feel about the Animal Crossing series. I really enjoy hearing you talk about Nintendo games. It helps me better understand why I loved their N64 and GameCube era games so much, and why I felt disconnected from their Wii era games.

Good job
Wow amazing video dude. I’m looking at your other videos, and I’m really not interested in anime enough to watch them, but if your videos in the past and future are all as high quality as this one, I’m sure you’ll blow up in no time 👍
Was expecting you to talk about maybe the way you have to acquire the rubber armor in multiple areas that are quite detached from the 'main', 'necessary', 'quintessential' areas like Hyrule Field, the multiple villages and towns, the Divine Beast kingdoms, etc. The places you get the armor come from places that don't really attract much attention to itself; I mean sure, the place you get the helmet is near where you can find Farosh, but you can also find him in Lake Hylia. It shows how vast the world is aside from the 'main' story and area. But you went a completely different route, talking about the design and how it exemplifies the tone of Breath of the Wild, and how that tone affected you and helped you with some of the things and aspects in your life that were troubling you. It was unexpected to say the least. Hope you're better now, and great video! tldr; did not expect feels

A world that didn’t make me forget my current issues, but gave me a relaxing world a relax in. Breath of the wild, is a masterful work of art.
I never thought of it like that. The fish rubber armor completely encapsulates what Nintendo is. Beautifully written.(I freaked out at the botw2 reveal, and now I'm back here, looking at zelda videos ever since)
The rubber helmet is based on the Zora’s helmet from Twilight Princess.. But I feel you, I actually played a ton of Botw, especially when I’m feeling down or even depressed.. Just the world, the way the world, gameplay and exploration works just grabs me.. Sometimes, when I’m alone in the house as well, not feeling the greatest, I just sit in a dark room and just play Botw.. Makes me feel better..
Hiding in Public, No problem man! You’re a really persuasive speaker, and make some excellent points. I was surprised to have my comment replied to as fast as it was. I can relate tk you so much, because my parents also divorced, but when I was 5, and I love the Zelda series, even though Botw js my first game. Keep up the good work and you'll pull through
@HidinginPublic Man, sounds like you've been through some shit. I've had a bad time aswell for the last few months... I really hope you feel better now. Best of luck.
Damn, I'm sorry you're going through that. My parents are in the middle of a divorce as well. While I can still live with my father, we weren't able to keep the house I grew up in and my parents have said and done a lot that has made me disappointed in them... including, but not limited to, my mother now in police custody for the harm she was planning to do to both of us, but that's a long story I won't bore people with. Suffice to say, I know it isn't easy and sometimes your idea of your parents can change dramatically in the time span of a divorce. Parents seem to often lose their parental senses to a degree when they get divorced and become more outwardly negative, no longer trying as hard to be role models or even just to _not_ be bad people. They'll fight, talk badly about each other, put some of the burden on others, make objectively bad choices, and so on. It's absolutely terrible, it leaves the idea of what "family" and "home" are shredded to pieces, and forces you to rework your entire life both outwardly and in your mind. I'm glad you could find something to make you feel the way you want to feel, whether that's comfort or nostalgia or any of the other myriad of things divorces can mess up. I'm personally finding myself replaying a lot of the games of my youth to achieve similar results, so this video resonated a lot with me. Thank you for being so honest and I hope you can work through these tough parts to get to a nicer place in life, in whatever way works best for you.
Dang yeah man thank you for sharing. I am sorry you have to go through all of that as well. I'm glad we can connect and relate to each other though. We'll be strong and we'll come out on top. I know it.
@@HidinginPublic I've found that sharing helps, especially with people who can relate. It's a rough situation regardless of the specifics, but it's not the end of the world. It's just a new normal with its own unique set of challenges we have to adjust to. We will get through it

For that I wanna say, my favourite armour to wear in BotW is the climbing headgear + the rubber tunic + fireproof leggings, all in the colour of beige. Try it!
@@petercook7521 thqt is interesting i'll see how it looks, and yup I try and be as active as possible with replies. :)

have you played mother 3? i’ve wondered how to get a translated rom and unsure if it’s n64 or a specific n64dd emulator
Mother 3 is a GBA game. it started on N64 but was scrapped. There is a fan translation website to download a rom of it
I love you dude. Thank you for doing what you do.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I will try to

Huh... I've never been convinced to subscribe to someone because of a fish suit before. Well done.
Thanks for deciding to stick around haha
We will get through it
Why did I just watch a 10 minute video on a rubber fish suit?!?
Idk but thanks
It was a brilliant video though! Great job and keep up the good work👍
This was great man.
Thanks, glad you liked it
@@HidinginPublic really enjoyed you talking about more personal stuff (even if this is my first video of yours) human connection to games is something that doesn't get talked about enough i feel, cheers.
