This tutorial is relaxing. I feel like I am on a plane, up in first class, kicked back with some champagne all while the captain explains what I need to do to make this work. So, yeah, thanks.
I know this comment section is old AF, but thanks! I have no idea why this video has only 56 likes. It needs thousands and so does part two. Very high quality, concise, and to the point. I appreciate you uploading quality content like this!
is there a way, to change the placement of certain objects of an armor? for example, mirror the pelt on the left shoulder of a specific armor piece, so it sits on the right shoulder instead? or is it also possible to add items/miscs? I have seen on- for example hothtrooper44's armor sets -that he added beer bottles on the waist, or placed some pouches of thief armor on other spots
abdamit I don't know about mirroring but if you right click on the part you want you can choose edit and move the mesh around using the 3 axis, however remember meshes are attached to specific bones allowing the sleeves to move in tandem with the arm etc so if you were to add a bottle and place it on the mesh it would only be in that position when standing still. Mods that have other items that aren't on vanilla armor meshes were attached via a 3D modelling tool, such as blender and 3ds Max. My advice just copy a mesh and just mess about in nifskope, see what you can and can't do.
@@hothtrooper4 Bryanwee is a mod author that created an armor mashup collection mod called Immersive Mashups for Oldrim which was pretty underrated tbh

I'm doing something like that in 3ds Max right now. It's such a pain in the ass...
