I like this realistic approach to renovating and designing a spaace you live in, sometimes I see renos get done in like 1 week on youtube and its just not realistic for everyone to set aside enough time to get it all done so quick!! From personal experience this stuff can either get done quick and you hate the whole process or it takes a bit longer but each decision is more intentional and enjoyable

Absolutely love this! We've moved to the NL and We're thinking of buying property as well but we're so hesitant to buy something that's not fully finished, watching you skate on bare floors is so brave and it's giving me courage to try and look for something that needs some work but hold potential.

@@naomicgabriel Ohh, I didn't know it's a thing when you rent something and the flooring is not done! I mean HUGE KUDOS, because we've just done this flooring to my mom's apartment with 2 guys and it was not easy!!! You slay for sure :)

@@esikazemese normally when you leave the rental at the end of a contract you have to remove everything that didn't came with it at the beginning.. so flooring, curtains etc. In the Netherlands rentals do have kitchens. It depends on who you rent it from. If it is social housing the kitchen will be very basic. Just the cabinets and worktop. No appliances. And no flooring. Unless the previous renter leaves it behind and you can buy it from them. But most of the time floors are bare, except for bathrooms. Those will be tiled. If you rent from a real estate office sometimes kitchens are a bit better with appliences and basic flooring. If you rent a furnished appartment like expats do, then everything will be there... but the rental price will be high.
