I think while we're making things, we see all the parts. When we come back yo look at it later, we can more easily see the whole. I love Big Random! This was fun, thanks Nicole!! ❤❤
I started a random glue book and after 2 pages it turned into a four seasons glue book. Still done in a similar way though. I still have a lot of images left though and have hopes the next one will be truly random. Loved today's pages. So colorful. the dogs with their words were just perfect.
P.S. I was able to save and keep my Color g.b., and stuff; my Tea g.b., AND my Big Random which I hadn't started yet (spinal neck surgery) BUT had bought the exact same color book as you, from Michaels. Wanted us to be twins. 😘 So everything is packed into individual heavy, large "baggies" and all in one huge tote bag. Plus some magazines I was able to save for harvesting. My Birds and Blooms is in a separate tote w/ all those B&B mags.That collection was started AFTER I moved back in. PHEW!! This was great and good reminders, thanks Nicole!
Some really great tips. I like the way you cut a circle with the popcorn on. You make me look at magazine layouts in a different way...even the smallest images can be used for fillers on a glue page. TFS❤
Hey girl, hey! I love the big random, and it turned out so colorful! I got two vaccines last Saturday,, so my weekend was quiet, I was tired with a sore arm AND we had the time change, PIA! So I worked in my craft room trying to finish up this journal I have been making. Oh yeah! I got my hair done on Friday, so it was pretty for the afternoon!
OUCHIE!!! Vaccines are the pits, they hurt so bad!! Getting my hair done is one of my favorite things ever!! If I could have someone play with my hair for an hour, I would take that over a massage any day. I LOVE IT! I'm glad you had a good weekend my friend!

All the images I use are from magazines & catalogs I've gotten for free. However, some of my favorites are Food Network, Cosmopolitan, Free Catalogs, Womens Day, Free Local Magazines in stores, etc. I don't really have a specific one per-say, but Food Network and Cosmopolitan would be at the top probably. A ton of my images I get from free catalogs to be honest. I hope that helps!

Thank you! Great question! I prefer the spiral bound because it’s a lot easier to glue in because it lays flat. I’ve made a lot of glue books and I find that spiral works best for me🩷
I get them all for free by asking friends and family for their old magazines, my hair salon saves their magazines for me, I look for free magazines online on Facebook and other apps like the NextDoor app, you can also find them free sometimes or really cheap at your local library, and I also request free catalogs!
Hey i have a quick question...i have tons of magazine images where i have cut from magazines. Seems like that is more my thing rather than gluing them in books. I would like to sell them in bunches.. is there a better place to sell them besides etsy?? I am trying make a little bit of money. Thank you ❤
"Funny" you should do this video today...I am still putting my apt. back together after they moved everything back in. Quite the mess as they just emptied the last 3 totes as well as ALL my art stuff; just dumped it everytwhere. Anyway, today I came across alot of my G.B. stuff. Had to throw out ALOT as they MOOSHED the magazines, already cut out pages AND fussy cuts!!!😑
