I actually got 2/1 because four goes into four once and four goes into 8 twice. I did not think of it as 2 but it is 2. My foundations of math is very screwed up. I do not know my multiplication tables by heart. I know the 1x#, 2x#, I kinda know my 3's but I doubt myself, 5x#, 9X# (I use the finger trick) I'm taking college algebra and I'm dying. :(

I'm 24 and I'm thinking about going back to school. I dropped out of junior college because of unstable housing environment and now my 17 year old brother who is in highschool needs help with his algebra 1 homework. I remember a tiny bit from highschool. Now I feel like this teacher explains alot of different things better. For example he writes down his preferred method and steps how to get there before he jumps into the examples, which I can appreciate.
I listened to my teacher for the entire lesson and I can't understand a thing,and I did it just according to the 4 steps on the board. Man's a living legend.

On a lot of videos the students are assuming the teacher isn’t teaching properly when that’s not the truth. It’s actually not just that, what it really IS is that there is many unique students and literally each one of them has a different learning style method that they learn best with! The teacher has their own learning style too so if student doesn’t learn it one way they may often have to try another that fits them more!
