We saw one on a tributary of the flint river in middle Georgia. It was a magnificent animal.
It's sad that there are so few Panthers left, that it's a big deal to have one spotted in South Central Florida. They should be there anyway. But, today there is only 200-300 in the entire state. You're very lucky to see one.
When I was high school, 9-13 years ago, there were 80 at most.
@slider903 Right. I remember back in the 80's or 90's they released some mountain lions to build up the population.
@@AFloridaSon I guess it worked.
Wow that looks amazing 😮
Mountain lions as we call them in Ca are IMO the most beautiful of all animals.
Just beautiful
I love cougars in florida 🐆 🇯🇪❤ 🇺🇸
Did you even listen to the article because they're not talking about cougars.
@@roseturner7889 yes they are cougars
hahahaaaaa you fine specimen, man of culture!🤣🤣🤣@@IntelligentElephant71133
Sure looks like a cougar to me 😂
@@conspiracymane3454 yes exactly
They shouldn't disclose where the panther is located. People are mean and stupid and puts the animal in danger.
Panther: Jeezus, there are cameras EVERYWHERE! Can't I just be left alone in peace?!
I saw one two days ago in leesburg by the plantation. Such beautiful animals 🦋🩷
My friend saw one in Tampa a few days ago.
There is a young panther strolling around in Timberwood Village off Island Park Road. My security cameras have it on video.
It's all about the kitty❤
Best part about it, we're still taking away it's habitat...two steps back 😎👍
Wow!😮
wow 🙀
Hopefully it was a female and she stays safe
They will eventually die out with all the Yankees moving in their direction. I saw one years ago close to Myakka State Park. Florida really needs to think about a statewide moratorium to cut back on the useless building and inhabitation of wetlands and forests.
The population is steadily climbing. There were 80 or so ten years ago.
Cougar❤they can be dangerous, less areas for them to hunt since their prey is less❤they are also being released by wildlife gov't personel all over country❤ on otherside of good there is a possibily of co existing withSome not all❤ as with Any animal even if domesticated, need to be alert to the an any change❤Since any thing including disease may cause a negative❤ hopefully the safety will be kept❤ they are a beautiful animal❤
Mountain lion panther what's difference 😅
This comment shows that the school system failed you
Color. Specifically.
So do the gators and the rattle snakes. A ferrel cat can tear you up. What do you think that this panther can do, especially if it is hungry? I don't want to be kitty food. Do you?
BLACK PANTHERS! But that's a PUMA!
I pray you’re not from Florida with that comment, if you are man the school system has failed you and I’m sorry for that. The black gene can occur in any big cat, it’s not isolated to one. Flordia panthers naturally have brown/Golden fur just like the FIU mascot. So you’re not wrong in saying it’s a puma, it’s a subspecies of a puma/cougar/mountain lion but in Flordia it’s a subspecies coined a Panther. Yes Flordia is known for the elusive black panther but our panthers are primarily the color you see in the video.
i live in duette and it is killing my livestock i might end it
