Add dechlorinator and keep the water in sunlight for 2 days or put water in sunlight for 5-7days to get aged ! Then remove particals of chlorine from water surface then tak out water gently for use don't use last 10-15% of water
Add pleasant net on pot or aqurium. Or if you have small fish add floating plants like water cabbage or duck with and other plants like lily so they can hide in

1. The concrete enclosure is too small for the koi. It will end up severely stunted. 2. You don't appear to have disinfected the plant. You should be ideally adding bleach to thoroughly disinfect the plant on the presumption it harbours deadly parasites such as gill and skin flukes. 3. There is no water movement to oxygenate the water. 4. The water is not deep enough. It could freeze solid from top to bottom and the koi cannot get away from predators like herons. I would suggest you start over and pay some attention to the fishes needs rather than just the aesthetics.
@@killdracula526 No bleach is fine so long as it does not have added fragrances and colours. You would want to make sure you thoroughly rinse all of the bleach off before adding it to your pond. You can't really stop frogs from eating fish. The key is to have a pond netting covering the pond to prevent any frogs from getting in in the first place.
@@Markk4785 Koi don't actually stunt. They release a hormone called somatostatin, which controls their growth according to the tank size. Its not harmful for them. Not only koi, but most carp species, even goldfish release the same hormone. And in tropical areas like this, water doesn't freeze. But yes, a filter and oxygen pump is crucial for the pond.
You don't use bleach on plants. You don't use bleach at all, it's a poison. I am in pond groups, no one gets disease from plants to their kois. Utter rubbish.
