Man this game is nostalgic for me.
This and Spongebob BFBB are the only licenced games based on my favorite shows not to be lazy sellout games. Protector of earth may not have been that special in ways of actual gameplay but as a fan of the show and as a casual gamer it definitely delivered for me. Nostalgia at it's best.

SpongeBob Creature from the Krusty Krab, Kung Fu Panda (for Xbox 360), Ben 10 Alien Force Vilgax Attacks, and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien were also very good licensed games imo.

i LOVED this game but as a kid the only thing i really hated is that you aren't able to use all 10 aliens...and even today i sometimes think why they didn't include all of them with the WIDE selection of characters Ben 10 gave every other boss could have had a Omnitrix crystal and just like in the full game they could have had places you couldn't get to unless you had that certain alien like only places you could use Grey Matter, a flying level with Stink Fly, hell even a freaking underwater stage using Ripjaws i know it's a pointless complaint about a 13 year old game but it's just something that bugged me

It was a bonus level where you fight all the bosses one at a time. Not the most important level narrativly.
@@Dalton_Boardman2000 it does give you two different gold sumo sammer cards on the ds version of Ben 10 protector of earth video game and you need ever last sumo sammer cards to use the master control on the ds version because apparently there is no cheat code for that other than the non ds version

when i was a kid one of my first video game consoles was the Play Station 2 and THIS plus Lego Batman:The Videogame (1) were the first games i ever played....GOD they were so much fun and even today they have sooooooo much repay value...since i have Protector of Earth also on Wii
Why did this game end on a cliffhanger that was never resolved? And why were only 5 aliens available? And why did they decide to still use only 5 in the Alien Force game, and not use all until AF Vilgax Attacks? They had the wolves, Animo Stinkflys and Wildmutts and Victor all in this game, couldn't they just repurpose those models to make the actual Wildmutt Stinkfly Benwolf and BenVictor? At the very least have Diamondhead, he was always one of my favourites.
My guess, on the alien one, is that it would take forever to make them all. And I imagine the thought of Ben having all 10 aliens at once in a game would've been crazy. At the time anyway.
Jason Cummings well there was no rush lol, they could have put the time into doing the other aliens, which they refer to a lot in the cutscenes and we even see a few on the Omnitrix in the cutscenes but he never transforms into them.
Plus for some of the Dr Animo crossbreed they used some of Ben’s aliens, they could have altered those models, so that’s Wildmutt and Stinkfly right away, and I’m pretty sure there was another I don’t remember, but also Victor and the Mummy and Werewolf could have been altered into Benmummy Benwolf and Benvictor very easily.

Jason Cummings who knows, all I know is, if they had at all the other aliens, this would have been like the best Ben 10 game, as the future ones, whilst they have all the aliens (some of them anyway) their stories aren’t as good as this first game which, maybe my nostalgia is speaking, but is the best story from the games, it was even sort of adapted into the series later on in Alien Force with Ben’s aliens splitting away and having to recapture them.

I agree ratchet omniverse and the original are the best in my opinion. I didn’t watch omniverse at all growing up but I’ve gone back to watch a few episodes and while it’s not perfect it’s better then the reboot

There's something I can't understand, some of these cutscenes seem to be missing from the ps2 version, didn't see the one where Enoch went inside his robot or the one before the big robot boss fight, is something wrong with my ps2?

I love how instead of actually in a meeting the transformations they just steal them from the show
I’m assuming it would’ve been difficult if the transformation sequences had the same art style as the game, so they used the transformation sequences from the show instead.
