    BTW, I visit Kenya a few time a year. I love Kenya and think that learning the language will be a super way to enhance my experience. Once again, great job. Tanzania and Rwanda are also on my visit list.

    1. Past tense: Mimi nili kula - I ate
    2. Present Tense: Mimi nina Kula - I will eat/I have to eat
    3. Future Tense: Mimi nita Kula - I will eat

    Kenyan people are some real characters when you speak English to them they’ll pretend like they don’t speak English or say I don’t understand you black Americans and when you speak Kiswahili to them they ask who taught you that word

    I understand that in Kiswahili to use a verb in a sentence we take out the ku part( infinitive form) . In your first sentence with Mimi you mention that we have to write mimi nili kula, nina kula and nita kula - Could you kindly eain this - wouldn't it be correct to say Mimi nilila , ninala and nita la instead

      You have a point here but now you have to understand that here “Kula “ is our verb where “kul” is the verb root unchanged and “a” is the verb end
