Aussie 7 Day: Southerly blast for the south, showers in the east, dry for many

- A large portion of Australia is dry this coming week but a southerly blast is tracking along the southern coastline this week and will give Tasmania in particular a bit of a blast of wind and wet weather. Main centres like Hobart and further north into Melbourne and Adelaide should all notice the southerly change this week.
But many other places have similar weather all week with it either leaning dry - or, if you live along the eastern seaboard, a higher chance of showers and cloud and cooler east to south east winds off the Tasman Sea.
Despite some showers from the southerly today and a few afternoon thunderstorms later this week, WA is mostly dry and warms back up as the week goes on (if you had a cold change in the south that is).
We have your forecast to Sunday. Our next update will be either on Wednesday evening or early Thursday (slightly earlier this week due to the Anzac national holiday on Thursday in New Zealand where we record from). - บันเทิง
What a great channel. Better than the Free to Air offerings that are broadcast. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the upload
Thanks phil
Thanks heaps. You're a legend
Great info yet again Phillip 👏
Fingers crossed for some major dam filling stuff 🌧 🌧🌧 in NSW before too much longer 😉 Green drought here atm 😢
Thank you, I'm glad I'm not going to Vic at the present!
It is just the cold creeping up into NSW that I am not a fan of as I feel the cold badly & am unable to create my own heat so my winter wardrobe is out & being put on already so that I delay using the electricity to keep me warm. So I am hoping for a short cold winter to make the rest of the family happy while I shiver waiting for October...
@louisebrislane6607 a suggestion is to put ginger in tea as it warms the body. Plus hot water bottles are great!
Thanks Phil and the gang. A pleasure as always 👍 Great informative broardcast. Love your work. Brightens my morning even when the weather is dull 😊
What a lovely message to receive, thank you David!
Awesome Stuff once again Phil. Thanks Heaps.

I'm pretty sure that Australia and New Zealand both commemorate ANZAC day on the same day, 25 April, every year.
Yes we do 😊

Thank you again Phillip, you're the only forcaster worth watching. Only one complaint, can you somehow push some of those showers down to Scottsdale area in Tas. It's way too dry here. Have a gret week in kiwi land😊.
