It's crazy how relevant his songs still are. He made all of them in like 2008-2011 and they're still so incredibly good. Sam is an actual prodigy. The stuff he does as audiofreq is insane too.
now this is a mix truly after my own heart 🖤 2010 was also when i started listening to a lot of happyhardcore radio. the big pianos, strings, and HUGE saw waves felt so grand and emotionally sweeping in a way that was exciting and new to me back then. and it is always so emotional to return to these days. it was also a period of transformation for the scene, looking back. the heralds who carried things in the 2000s like brisk & ham, sy & unknown, hixxy and others were finishing runs on decade spanning labels, leaving room for the next generation likes of fracus & darwin, gammer and more to step up and push things forward. amato went under just a few years prior and the shift from vinyl to mp3 for primary releases was taking hold. i'm thankful for the music and all the people who poured their heart into hardcore at what could be seen as a tumultuous time because it kept things alive long enough for the genre to get its hooks deep down within me. and my life has been better for that ever since. mad mix as always shouts out to some fellow 🇺🇸 representation, always nice to see, and to all the Orbit1 love too (serious legend that one). cheers 🙌

I wish I had friends into this stuff but oh well its not to be. Everyone I know calls it "noise". So I retreat to videos like this and have my own little solo rave in my room! Great stuff HHC for life! Also your studio is so neat and sharp. I like it so much. As for the DJ set up its like the flight deck of the space shuttle lol. I wouldn't know how to turn them on even 😅
Cotts got me into hardcore during this era, so this set is such sweet nostalgia 😍. Also, I only just realised Cheezy-P is Evan! I've been binging his freeform sets recently. Big ups Evan!
I haven't had the volume pumped up thus much in a few years! :) I definitely miss this sort of hardcore, genuinely gets everything pumping so much more than anything from the 5 years or more...
What a time capsule this mix is! I first started listening to Mr. Dj Cotts around 2010(ish) and his mixes and Choonages got me into Uk/Happy Hardcore! Cheezy-P and I go back gaming together, and talking about the music! Much love to both of you and glad to see him mixing with Cotts! Bangers!
man its been so long since i've listened in, but this mix brought me back to when i first started to listen to you cotts....better times...much better...hope all is well!
What a fun mix. Saw the title and thought "What the heck is Cheezy-P doing in Aus?," but of course he's there to jam with Cotts 😄 Digital and vinyl in the same mix, gotta love it...only a few of us peeps left in Hardcore still doing that lol 😆
Amazing mix as always! Great to see the passion one has to this style at those golden years! I absolutely adore the 10's, 00's hardcore too! Amazing mixing by Cheezy P, And hope to see more guests in the future! Hardcore Will Never Die!
Okay wow this is a shock, man its been a while since I've seen Evan. How much as changed since well...Hell I was at the first gig he ever did back before he moved out to the west coast. Good to see ya still been kicking it hardcore!
absolutely pumping H. Hard kicks n basslines, Accompanied by Sky-High soaring euphoric melodies, perfectly blended together by two Badman Selektahs, this, specific sound is such a snapshot of the MDMA driven dance scene of the late 2000's, excellent work guys, always delivering the shmickest sets; pumping em out like a standard.
this era of happy hardcore was the shit, I miss the Dougal, Gammer, Darren Styles, Orbit1, Cheever, Weaver. Legends of Happy/Hardcore Era. HTID
We got to keep it alive!
The heroes. Technikore still stands
some DJs/producers you mentioned are still active... they just changed/modified style
@@LazySlugLBS the new happy hardcore doesn't compare this era of happy hardcore they should go back to the 2005-2010 sound I hate the new stuff so bad
Dont ever stop, I need this in my life
Hi ! I do repost my comment, without the link this time. But this was nice to see and hear this duo mix Cheezy-P x DJ Cotts.
3 mixes in a month? Idk what we did to deserve this but thank you!
He got no choice - he can't leave the room still ... no one donated a door yet so he GOT TO.

Can never go wrong with Orbit1 and Inverse
Evan's been supporting the scene for a while. I still remember him buying my EP on bandcamp eventhough I offered it for free.
Big ups to the man!
When I heard 12:46 start to blend in, I realised it was sped up slightly.... I knew exactly which remix it was and went oh hell yes!
Oh and that blend to Lumin8 perfect
Love from the Netherlands!
