Then the moment she understood that her presence is making the new mom impatient, she left the place without any reaction. Even though she is kind of at the highest rank in the pack. Suki sure as hell is the smartest shiba in the house.
When Suki was angry and protective when she just had her puppies some people in the comments were like "Suki is so so mean and evil against Raya! Boohoo". This is completely normal behavior. They need to be protective around their puppies in the wild because other dogs might injure or even kill them. As you see, Raya is doing exactly the same now.

Suki may seem aloof most of the time, even put off by Raya’s rambunctiousness, but she is bang on with her “instincts” & basic common sense & common decency! It’s almost like she knows Shiro is not easily scared off by Raya & will continue to push the boundaries so she’s stepping in to put an end to all that! Whether Suki can project some of her previous experiences or not, nobody knows with any degree of certainty, but dogs are _very good_ at sensing other dogs & hoomans hormonal changes, thus stress levels, so I think Suki is very intuitive & all the times we catch her staring at nothing is just her observing & analyzing those around her 🩷
I believe this is instinctual, in that they are trying to remove all trace of their presence for predators? I have read that this is why dogs also eat other things as well. 💩 If others know better, then please tell.

The ultrasound was super rushed so the vet likely was mistaken. Also ultrasound mostly just confirm pregnancy and not the number of puppies necessarily. Raya only birthed one puppy and passed the placenta so there is no chance of any other puppies now that the placenta is out. It's also been over 24 hours since.
Agree and she keeps coming back showing her concern bc Suki knows she's been there 5 times so she knows the pain and how fragile this baby is. She did look like she wanted so bad to clean the baby off the way it should be done after the baby came out. Her tongue was like she saying " if I could just do it for Raya"

Understandable, but Suki really is your BFF, Raya, and means no harm, as you know. Still, on the first and second days, Momma hormones are running high so best to leave her alone.
Please make sure to give Shiro some extra playtime so he doesn't feel left out. I still remember the rough time he had with Yori and Mashu the first days.
