Sometimes, there is no outro because Skyen is too pissed off by the skin. Here, there is no outro because there is no time for that because he has so much to praise the skin for lol
there is plenty of time, but "for longer , indepth videos" doesn't seems to be as important as it was before. I think the short form content has been rooted in his brain as a short term neuron activation and whe have lost the 3 hour videos of him just playing Elden ring

Since we're on the subjectof voiceline, if Dark Star Rhaast is near anyone with a Star Guardian skin he goes "Well now, I'm not familiar with your universe. But oh, how I could be." And that's equal parts interesting and terrifying.

I'd rather say its like those parasites that take the tongue of an animal and starve it of blood until it dies, replacing it. Then the host missing its parasite tongue when he gets better.

Kinda interesting that Dark Star Rhaast's design is so merged into this universe that you might not even initially realize it is Dark Star Rhaast. I wish all the Darkin that came to this skin line kinda adopted that

Fun fact: Odyssey Kayn has a short story called 'The lure' that was written by Dan Abnett, the godfather of writers in the Warhammer 40K sphere.

Dan also helped write the warhammer fantasy malus dark blade books as well. He’s the perfect writer for the story since Malus and Tzar’kan are pretty much just Kayn and Rhaast but in warhammer .

My favorite thing about this skin is that it's not Odyssey Rhaast, it's DARK STAR. The fact that this skinline is directly tied to the Darl Star verse is just awesome and I wish more skinlines were intertwined as well as this; subtle, separate, but intertwined all the same.
and Shadow Assasssin is essentially Kayn becoming a artificial Cosmic entity from the Cosmic skin line

It’s the best part about all skins that Kayn has, snow moon kayn is bloodmoon rhaast, same with the nightbringer skin lines
Kayn and Rhaast's lines are my favorite, its both such a wholesome friend interaction and a messed up relationship at the same time

He plays so well off of Sam A. Mowry's rhaast and i wish they had more lines together

Also a quick bonus is that he legit changes skinlines between forms. He starts off as Odyssey Kayn, and then transforms into either Dark Star Rhaast or Galaxy Slayer Shadow Assassin.
That's the best part of kayn skins they merge skin lines and it's awesome. Dawn bringer and night bringer, snow moon and blood moon. Kayn skins are genuinely the highest value skins in the game

Kayn’s design is always fascinating since you have to effectively design three characters at the same time. And Odyssey does a great job in that where if this were a show, you could easily find yourself invested in trying to figure out if Kayn will win in the end, or if Rhaast will take over. Either way, it will be fun to see who the final boss will be between the two.
A brilliant overall design for sure.
My favorite thing about Odyssey is that it is technically in our real world. It states in kayn's bio that his favorite popstar is ahri (popstar ahri) kDa ahri comes when ahri decides to make a pop group thanks to seraphine we know that the kda universe is the real world. Therefore odyssey is in the real world.
Since Pentakill and KDA also share a universe, this does mean that the Runeterra of our real world is the Pentakill one.
I mean there is a solitary Popstar Ahri skin so this doesn't necessarily have to be true.

The only mods for League I use are the ones that allow me to have these guys as my announcer in game. Their writing and dynamic is so amazing, I have to listen to them always while playing, even if I'm not playing Kayn
I don't play the game or have any interaction with the fandom but skyens voice is too satisfying and his explanations too good to not binge his whole channel

This skin also connects Odyssey skin line with cosmic/darkstar, and that connection reminds me of final space, a show where a crew goes against cosmic gods
I really just want rhaast and kayn to have a storyline where they both survive... hearing them banter is the best thing in the skin.

it definitely helps that robbie daymond is like the best va in the world especially for characters just like odyssey kayn who have a side thats self assured, calm and confident, but then can flip a switch and become completely unhinged. odyssey kayn is jsut robbie daymond getting to play goro akechi again which is amazing for him. i think odyssey kayn is better tho :3
What’s hilarious is when I joined League, I managed to get odyssey Kayn out of pure luck. I sold his skin thinking I’ll never play kayn which I deeply regret.
Odyssey is such a great skinline but tbh my favourite part has always been the music, the first piece of ost that gripped me immediately, something about those vibrations scratches the brain folds just right 😌

Odyssey Kayn is a masterclass of using a character to deepen the worldbuilding of another universe on top of its own. Kayn becoming a Cosmic entity upon defeating Rhaast, and how Rhaast was a Dark Star opens up so many new avenues in the otherwise drab universe of Cosmic. To think that Cosmics could be corrupted into Dark Star alliegant Dark Cosmics, but we've never considered that they were both the same energy, and that the inverse could happen.

the one with the karaoke night was absolutly the best voice line I love it
I think as far as voice overs go, I think Final Boss Veigar is my favourite, since every single line is a quote from a video game and I think that’s hilarious.
But that doesn’t stop Odyssey Kahn from being a close second. The back and forth between him and Rhaast as well as one taunting the other when they take control is the perfect showcase of their character dynamic.

Another thing I like about Odyssey Kayn is its connections to the Dark Star skinline. The Kayn half of the skin is Odyssey, while the Rhaast half is essentially a separate, Dark Star skin.
It makes me really sad when you transform into shadow kayn because he tries to talk to rhaast and then remembers that ge is gone and just stops talking

Brah, when you go shadow kayn, he calls out for raast and it is just sad, because raast is gone, and he couldn't even tell he was holding the corpse of the closet thing he ever saw to a friend. T.T

I love how their personalities have completely changed based on the storyline of their skins, adding more life and emotion to the quotes. I'm a big fan of quotes of Champions whenever I buy them, it's the only thing that makes me buy skins.
This is like being the best of the worst. This is genuinely one of if not ththe worst skin lines they’ve ever been done.

This is one of the best skins in LOL period. I always enjoyed Kayn due to the banter he had with Rhaast, but Odyssey Kayn takes it to another level.
any reason you don't consider voice in your rankings? For me personally thats a main concern of mine when buying a skin
I’m guessing because then legendary skins automatically win every time by virtue of having new voice lines.
@@cartoonishidealism582 yeah i mean it shouldnt be the main review point, but legendary skins are inherently cooler cause they get voices and i don't think its bad for that to show up to a degree in this series
