Saw them on their "Pissed Tour" somewhere in Texas. It was a hell of a show at the very end of the (Hair) Metal Days in the early 90s. Still love the Pissed album a lot and I listen to it quite often.

I’m sixteen and go to the School of Rock Austin where Jason’s an instructor, and he taught me vocal lessons for about 2 years. He’s seriously amazing, and one of my favorite people of all time. The most humble, talented dude I’ve ever met, and some of the coolest stories too🤘🏻🤘🏻

I feel like a total A#$HOLE. I've been a hard rock fan all my life. I'm now 64 and I just heard these guys for the first time Two weeks ago. THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST BANDS I'VE EVER HEARD !! In just two weeks they've risen to the top of my Mt Rushmore of favorite bands. I like any music with power driven guitars Thrash. Prog - Rap Metal - Hair metal whatever. But at the end of the day I realized a few years ago that my favorite kind of music is what I call "Sassy Heavy metal" While many bands have stuff in their list that fits this some of the real masters of this "Sassy Metal" are bands like Helix - Britney Fox - Trash and Smashed Gladys. These guys are Sassy Metal personified, .........I should have given them a listen a long long time ago..........Oh I feel like such an A#$HOLE.

better late than never (just like my response to your comment lol). I wrote a whole 20+ pp article on glam/sleaze/hair (would label them as sleaze) and I didn't include them. My bad. Honestly, they are cool, but - jus tlike Britny Fox - the problem with them having less exposure is a relative lack of their super-own style. Their songs are fab, but each of them is something we've heard someone else play some other time before. That's the deal with these bands. That being said, DT are my top fav these days, along with WASP or Skid.

This is what real music is. People actually playing instruments, practicing to be masters of their craft, and just giving it their all in live shows. Not all these auto-tune idiots that couldn't play two notes in tune on a one key kiddie xylophone. Most of what is on the air these days isn't music...it's electronically generated noise.
