I'm a retired sparky after 50 enjoyable years. In the last 15 years or so VFD'S taking over motor controls but wired in hundreds of motors. You would be surprised how many so called qualified electricians do not know how to even Claire in a 3*wire start stop station. My boss told me to show 2 electricians & a helper how to do this. Told him they should hire qualified electrical contractors. Anyway took the cover off of a A&B NEMA 1 starter and showed them the wiring diagram and still too them over halve a hour to get it to work. Another time I had to wire in a long conveyor with three start stop buttons. New hire told me that you can not connect more then INE stop button to any motor or starters. One time I had to connect 9 long conveyor on a single start stop station. Had to use 120 VAC for motor thermostats ( internal temperature device that opens if motor overheats ). Their was too much voltage drop trying to use 24 volts.

95 and 96 thats is normalily close contact for overload to stop tg the motor running. 97 and 98 that is normally open contact, you can use that if want pilot liight on if motor overloaded.
kahit anong supply 220,440,600vac ganyan parin ang control circuit walang mabago . ngayon ang sabi mo ang power supply mo ay 440Vac ang control circuit ay ganun parin sa ginawa ko. hindi mo lang pwedeng i connect ang motor mo kse 220Vac masusunog ang motor winding ng motor. i hope you understand.
oo meron machine na ganyan katulad ng ginagamit namin coiler machine maliliit lang na motor kya ganyan. syempre npeumatic cylinder at with proximity sensors.

this motor control very useful on conveyor so that one motor conveyor overload all motor stop wont overflow. and fix the problem.

thats easy compressor control by pressure switch, you can set up turn on below pressure 75 psi start then rich 95 psi above shut off

I'm confused why we need M2 normally open contact to control M3 COIL? Couldn't AI for motor 2 and 3 be Jumper'd?
thats is interlock for safe if M2 motor overload stop should stop m3.

Yes if magnetic contactor M1 is energize the holding contac M1 normally open change to normally close to start M2 .
