Also, they shaved nearly 20 pounds of weight from the roof of the car! With David saying - Incase you were wondering you can get roughly 20lbs out the roof on an SN95. Thats some high weight I'm glad to have gone. Hopefully help with those wheelies a little.
And on the 7th, they posted this picture saying Chris Merry had come by and smoothed the fenders for paint!
ERIC: Donovan Linwood has made an update to his car - he kept cutting and ended up adding upper torque boxes saying “Well decided to go a little further than I expected to because everyone told me since I was that far I was dumb to not do atleast upper torque boxes. Hoping this will get me a little more usable upper bar angle and take the worry out of my mind of stuff moving back there.”
He also narrowed the rear axle to get more clearance
The last few pieces of the puzzle are coming together on Stefan Gustafsson’s Bitter Tears Camaro build! Stefan is determined to make Sick Week 2025. He has finished in the Top 3 each year with the Corvette, winning it all in 2022. Can this brand new car take on the best and come out on top again?
Drag Drive Repeat is dedicated to the drag and drive communtiy! We will visit with participants of events like Hot Rod Drag Week, Rocky Mountain Race Week 1.0 and 2.0, Sick Week, and many of the other events that are beginning to happen!
If you are new to drag and drive style events, think of it like Two Lane Blacktop (you know, the old movie with the horrible ending). The participants of these events will drive their car from track to track, on public roads/highways, allowed only to use the parts/tools they bring with them in the car or in a trailer towed by the racecar. You must be self sufficient to compete in this type of endurance drag racing! There are no trucks with trailers that are following you to pick you up when you break.
