I lived in Paris from '56 to '60 and these were all over the place and I loved them. There is definitely a place for these treasures both Electric and ICE in today's world. Congratulations on a determined and ultimately successful effort!
N.Lamm
This has been my dream, to revive the Messerschmitt, for over 40 years. Huge respect to you for realising this dream for me, especially with the electric option. I fear what the price will be but i am determined to get one one day
I love this story. This guy managed to get his vision realized and timing is perfect with electrification. Finally I would like to point out that the Aptera car also has 3 wheels. But that has solar power charging. However this Messerschmitt is on the roads NOW.
Like you said, this Messerschmitt is on the roads now. We'll just have to wait and see how Aptera (and other solar cars) fares. Sono Motors' Sion, for example, didn't see light of day (pun intended).
Amazing achievement! I hope he succeeds. Unfortunately, I doubt Australian design rules might not allow it on our roads or modifications will be required for homologation in Australia.
As a Aussie the only way maybe if it’s accepted as motor bike like the UK and used ADR compliant gas and or electric scooters the way tis gentleman has done. Maybe wishful thinking.
Love it. But the price around 24K€, sound a little on the expensive side, but then, it would probably be dirt cheap to run. But a little longer range, would be nice.
I’d buy the 300cc petrol version then you can have a day out with no worries. It looks a very well thought out little car, I remember the people next door had an original
I note the front mudguards are TG500 shape which is, I think, a shame. However, congratulations on reviving the 'schmitt. There must be room for more batteries to increase the range. This would be worth it despite the extra weight.
I also would like to add my congratulations . Electric , yes way to go , this is the future . To my mind , all electric vehicles will eventually follow this kind of route , they just don't know it yet . Personally , i think the future of large vehicles are numbered . Just a suggestion , take a look at building the wheels outta carbon fibre , i think that's another innovation , electric vehicles will need to master .
Saludos!!!!
It should be as narrow as possible but lean steer like a motorcycle. The reduced width would reduce road congestion as more cars could use the existing road width.
Greetings friend, We are moving my solar business to Portugal, from America, in a few months and wondering if we can order a couple of Messerschmitts? How is your Ukrainian partner doing? I hope he is ok and his facility can be moved to a safe place. I’m going to be buying some land near Porto and will have space for him or any other partners of yours that need help. Sorry to still pester you about the proposed Tiger 500, but I’m still interested in buying 2 of those, when you have them available. I can drop buy your shop and give you a deposit. Kind regards, Giovanni
actually, for a small manufacturer it is cheaper to buy the whole scooter. it is different if you are mass-producing by the thousands, but this company only intends to build small numbers so this is the cheaper way to go.
We, here at the German Paintball Museum, love the reborn Kabinenroller. Thank you very much Achim Adlfinger! :)
Wow best of luck to you, I hope it’s a great success!

Saw these when I was a little kid travelling in Europe with my family. Still cool!
Nice memory!

beautiful car! I really like it.
I love that vehicle.
I would love one.

Wow great work of craft and engineering. I hope its production to be needs in Asia and especially in India.. I like Messerschmitt and love to have one
Amazing work - well done :)
beautiful

Wonderful !!!
Genius stuff representing here , wow !
awesome!!
or maybe sell body kits....so people who dont have lots of extra money can just build their own :)
Scooter tyres wear very fast , i used to use trailer tyres they lasted much longer
I’d buy the 300cc petrol version then you can have a day out with no worries. It looks a very well thought out little car, I remember the people next door had an original
I would love one BUT I fear the price is beyond me.
I want one, badly! 😵💫😲😵💫
First the Isetta and now this.
Want one!
De base je n’aime vraiment pas l’électrique… Mais….Félicitations pour ce merveilleux projet 🤩😍🥰🤩🫡
When is the elctric Merhssermit will be on the market?
I note the front mudguards are TG500 shape which is, I think, a shame. However, congratulations on reviving the 'schmitt.
There must be room for more batteries to increase the range. This would be worth it despite the extra weight.
Can you produce this as an electrically-assisted 3-wheel bicycle (velomobile)?
That sounds like it would be a good fit.

Chinese Hub Motor would work, to save weight, then fit larger Battery

When it will be available, and the cost will be for 1 cif to Cyprus EU,?
Hello. Is it just a prototype?
If not will it be allowed to ride on roads ?
What prices according to electric or gas version?
Hi, this is the url of the New Messerschmitt www.messerschmitt-werke.de
It's road legal in Germany and they start serial production.
They get to a speed of around 90 kph or 55mph
Nothing was said on the price.
@@dave_sic1365 about the price , i have red about 15000€ which is quite expensive .since you can find a traditionnal smal car for hardly more 10000.
@@vaporiste yes they are very expensive. But that's OK since the producers don't want it to be a mass vehicle, just something for enthusiast.
@@dave_sic1365 it's a pity , because it could be a positive écologic answer to environmental issues with a only 3kw engine .. but not at this price.
Excellent project but please put a mask on when you're cutting fibreglass.
What is more useful and enjoyable in the modern world? A Range Rover Sport SV Edition One Stealth or this Messerschmitt?
It should be as narrow as possible but lean steer like a motorcycle. The reduced width would reduce road congestion as more cars could use the existing road width.
Then buy a motorcycle
Genius using existing approved parts.
you can bring that to USA...because its 3 wheel, it will be classified as motorcycle and no need for a lot of safety requirement....I THINK
It's like the Vanderhall. 3 wheels and its classified as a motorcycle.
Mit Verbrennermotor würde ich den kaufen
Erstmal Preis erfragen...dann liegst Du bewusstlos am Boden !
Beautiful, much needed, but I can't afford one - got a toy one thoby *{}:-y

Decent.
I love it but I can't believe it's cheaper to buy a whole new electric scooter and use the parts to build the car.
um i think that was just for the prototyping phase

children car?
did you watch video?
This guys missing a trick....parts manufactured in China and sold in kit form to customers.
