I hope the Narreter forgot to mention the latest update as per the data the poverty in India has shrunk to less than 15% of its population which will be few millions out of 1.3 billion people. Also these slums are generating some million dollar economy via business and other ways of revenue. People live in these slums with most updated facilities like cellphones, laptops or even more. The western media especially this narrator has done this video a way long back and still not updated with the current facts. This is a country of population with more than a billion not few millions. This is also a country reclaiming its past state of richness. Please don't under estimate and compare with a million populated countries. If you compare these millionaires and billionaires the count will be more than the entire population of certain countries. Also IMF have already announced India as a middle class country not anymore a poor country. Last 10 years alone around 400 to 500 millions were brought out of poverty. Yes most of the Indians look simple they may not spend money much but they do save a lot of money than any other races on earth. The Indian women's gold ornaments alone will worth 11% of the world share which is more times of than any other country's gold reserve on this planet.

Just to clarify Mukesh Ambani is a self made man. He grew up in a very poor neibourhood. When they made it big he gave shares to all the other residents which when the company floated helped the residents get out of poverty. He employs Hundreds of thousands of people and is a prolific philanthropist. He does spend on him self but that provides employment. You mentioned why they need 600 servants. the employees get paid over market rates and are looked after. Or they could be unemployed. Which is better. Don't forget its easy to comment without knowing the facts.
